streets of rage

Super Mario Land (GB)
Recently emulated it, I remember reading somewhere that it wasn't originally a Mario game. Still fun though.

Wolfenstein 3D

Very occasionally, but yes.

Micro Machines on the C64, no haven't played it since.

I can't believe I forgot about this game given the hundreds of hours I put into it as a kid. Shamefur dispray.

Super Mario World, no, but might play some hack eventually.

*KEEP IT RIGHT* *KEEP IT LEFT*

I always died on the candy stage.

Crash Bandicoot.

no, I replayed Crash 2 recently though and it was very good.

Super Mario Bros or Contra and yes I do.

Mortal Kombat 4

no

Felix the Cat for NES
I replayed it sometimes but not anymore, it is piss easy

Cannon Fodder and F-15.

I should get around to actually beating Cannon Fodder, but it definitely doesn't hold up.

It's over Jareck

youtu.be/2GlCcO4zghM?t=630

My brother used to play it then I tried it.

WHERE'S MY CAAAAAKE!!!!!!

Tetris on Game Boy.

I do still play it all the time on my backlight-modded Game Boy, but mostly Tetris DX instead of the original.

Probably this and no but I just got 22M on Arabian Nights - The Pinball Arcade, topping out my local scores list.. if anyone is man enough to beat me.

Guys, help me remember this game I played a long time ago as a child.

1)It was some puzzle game that involved red and blue spheres. Reds on one side and blue on another. It came built in with the computer. You try to match the colors. I've completely forgotten it, but I remember it.

2) A child's game where you do match problems to move a worm in an apple away from a spider that's chasing it. The apple has a math problem on it and every time you solve it, you get to move the apple.

These were the epitome of my childhood games, but I have no idea their name or how to find them anymore.

Also, Rodent's Revenge and Chip's Challenge. Real classics. I play them every now and then. Chip's had such a nostalgic bgm.

I'm jealous of you guys, I can't remember the first game I ever played. Was probably some nes game, megaman 2 or something

It helps to not have the brain of a potato.

Probably FIFA 98 Road to the World Cup or some MAME32
I still love retro games (Sega genesis is my favourite console) but I can't replay that fifa because of muh compatibility

sonic 2

at least once a year.

Pac Man

and yes. Though I prefer Ms. Pac Man.

Donkey Kong on Atari.

good game, but the circus was better.

cowboy rodeo on 2600 when I was 4
haven't played it for a while

Some sort of weird shooting gallery game on PC for Windows 95/98. If somebody remembers what I'm talking about, that would be magical.

What era was your childhood Sup Forums?

I was a poorfag and the falsh games in Newgrounds, Nitrome and pic related were the only things I could play at that time.

early milennial

Core Milennial.

Early Millennial

Which board can I visit to talk about pinball?

Born 95 and its late Gen Y for me. I very distinctly remember my friends in middle school making fun of the early Z shows like Johnny test, Hannah Montana, etc. and asking what happened to the good shows like Samurai Jack.

Yet those just a few years younger than me remember Hannah Montana and Johnny test fondly as part of their childhood; this is the fine line between Millennials and Gen zyklon.

...

late gen x/early gen y but I love everything about all of gen x

late gen x to late gen y

DooM 2 and yes.

my first games were on the Intellivision but I don't remember what they were. I have it boxed up in my attic though. It stopped working at some point but I never had the heart to throw it out

Should be in theory core milennial, but I recognize like four things on the list and neither of them feels like it has been a particular influence on me. Virtually all of this shit is completely and utterly irrelevant to me.

Then again, just most of this shit feels like a heap of irrelevant garbage, across all of the generations.

Super Mario Bros. on an nes
Sometimes, but emulated. Haven't played a real nes in years.

Is 1986 born early or late millenial? anyways tiny toons was my shit and it is in early.

i have had computers as far back as I can remember so it was probably this...so...no.

>What was the first game you ever played and do you still play it to this day?
I think (but I'm not sure) it was one of the oldest Lotus Race games.
I also remember having a collection of Appogees greatest hits (bunch of freeware versions of games like Raptor, Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure, Biomenace, Major Striker, Halloween Harry etc...
Then we played a lot of Jazz Jack Rabbit 2, Heretic and Master of Magic.
Heretic I remember playing with my dad a lot.

why was core gen y so good?

It was either Super Mario World or Final Fantasy 2. SMW, not really, I think I last played it like 7 or 8 years ago to see how fast I could casually 100% it. Last played FF4 like 2 or 3 years ago, I play that shit religiously and have like 2 or 3 playthroughs of every version and remake that's come out.

Doom,
Haven't played it again in a long time, but I liked D44m quite a lot

Do you have more affinity to early 90s kiddom or late 90s kiddom. If former then youre early Y, if latter then core y

If I was to judge it by this particular infographic, it wasn't.

May not apply for me because I am not american, so shit is weird and different.
Anyways I share almost the same amount from both.

or Sup Forums is a political board, sorry.

born 91 but was mostly interested in late genx shit as a kid

Millennials should be gen z. When people say "millennial" it just confuses people and pisses them off, most people think of 16 year olds when they think of Millennials even if it's not "technically" correct

pretty sure most people are aware that millenials are 'the entitled, rude fucks that love avocado toast', while gen z are 'the fucking stupid morons who eat tide pods'

thx man

Reminder that game was just a demo

Same thing; nope bad memories.

I think that up until last last month, most normies didnt know Gen Z existed because a lot of them kept calling teens Millennials. It's only after the Parkland shooting and the protests that I've seen people irl talk about gen Z.

Where can you get the full version

The first tmnt game on nes, yeah sometimes

Have you ever 1cc it

Nah, i can consistently make it to the hell hallway right before shredder with all the flying robot guys that noclip thru the walls but thats as far as ive ever gotten

Early Gen Z was depressing honestly. Everything I loved about the early 2000s came to an end.

I'm 23 but you'd think I'm older based on this game

Wow man you're so cool for not succumbing to popular fads in children's media over the last 3 decades.

I think the first proper game I played was this. I also had a toy story game that I was fucking obsessed with.

First toy story game or second? I only had the secons but it was awesome.

They were never particularly big fads to begin with. That is actually my point. With the exception of perhaps Matrix and Saving Private Ryan, that shit was irrelevant even back in the days. It's not about quality, it's about relevance, you whinny insecure pussy.

My grandma took care of me while my parents worked. She also cleaned houses for families during the day, so she'd take us along to homes while she mopped/cleaned.

One of those houses had an NES with Mario/Duck Hunt. I couldn't believe how cool it must be to be rich

Based

>late gen Y and onward
ick

It's either doom, super mario bros 3, legend of zelda link's awakening, mechwarrior 2 or total recall

Born in 91

So core gen y

So you dont like Samurai Jack?

not that user, but I don't.

All flash, no substance, and as someone who doesn't like the artstyle, there's absolutely nothing there for me, aside from based Mako.

Guess what, I don't play it any longer

it's alright

Zelda II.
I turn 30 this month. Fuck you guys are young.

IIRC the average age on Sup Forums is something like 17-18.

Battle city
no

Early Gen Y, I watched/played nearly everything in that pic.

the internet

Pretty much, but i did enjoy almost everything before it and early gen z

This in the last 8 years but before that it was Miniclip and Minijuegos

Pretty sure it was either Joust at a mom and pop pizza place in the early 90s or Sonic 2.

Joust I still play from time to time, but outside MAME there is not really any solid releases besides the weird Xbox Live one. Sonic 2 I play fairly regularly.

Duck Hunt.

>do you still play it
No, because I don't have the hardware anymore and my tv is too advanced for the game anyway.

Pokemon yellow
no if sequels don't count

This.
No, it's shit.
I occasionally run through 2, 3, TiT and HH though. The beat 'em ups are so much better.

Oops.
