With the failure of this legitimately great game, what can we expect out of Gausswerks next? Can they live up to Brigador or will they have to resort to moving more assets towards advertising so that their next game actually gets known?
Brigador
So what is wrong with the game?
I don't know really, If I were them I would probably change industry and stop making games.
If they are doing something, they might use something more simple to develop on the software standpoint.
Nothing, it's great, they just flopped due to marketing.
Dont get me wrong I love the game but I dont think marketing is the only reason why it didnt sell
Still one thing I love about Brigador is how pretty much fix the whole Mech vs Tank thing
>tanks are better in open ground, less affected by terrain, more stable weapons plataforms
>walkers are better city killers, faster response, got better sight of the battle which allows them to abuse cover
>Agravs are fast as shit, no problems with terrain, can strafe and are better for ambush and hit and run.
I was perusing the Steam discussion pages yesterday and a dev mentioned that something was in the works, but there was nothing concrete
Are there full profile shots for every pilot? I need to see more of my waifu Ripley
Nope, sorry. Check the devs imgur
Well thanks, anyway
>yfw solo novo is just space brazil
>If they are doing something, they might use something more simple to develop on the software standpoint.
I think that's what they are doing right now.
>implying i'm willing to drop $20 on a game I don't know from a genre that doesn't exist.
>Corvids are pretty much Deathskulls orks
Corvid junkers>everything else
You can get it for less than a dollar on G2A
The issue I had with Brigador is that it's too sandboxy for my tastes, I'd much rather be progressing through content that the devs have designed than curating my own challenge every run if that makes sense. And the campaign they did add seemed like an afterthought.

This, some missions and loadouts are great while others are "tiny map with shitload of enemies"
Loved Brigadier and can't wait for Battletech
Mechs are cool again
As much as I suck the game’s dick, I think it does lack focus. It has a crazy amount of customization and freedom of play style but after doing the Closed-Casket Special run and finishing campaign, you’ve kind of done everything. Perhaps more of a narrative or character focus could have been nice.
>Ropekid
>Parliament
>Lockdown
>Audio-Kinetic Blast
Mechs are cool, but goddamn it feels good to just fly down side streets and ambush motherfuckers.
Do wish they had more maps, or at least some kind of procedurally generated game mode tacked on.
>Flying Ms Kennedy Spits in a Swordfish with Bulldog, Donkey, and Kinetic Pulse equipped
Jousting is too fun.
>a genre that doesn't exist
If you ever want to know why it sometimes seems like companies are reluctant to innovate, remember this comment.
>all that interesting lore and backstory
>game itself has no story at all
Do you use relative or absolute controls for agravs? I started with absolute for everything, but moved to relative with mechs/tanks. Relative on agravs seems like it'd give you more fine control over your movement, but at the cost of your aiming and movement controls being tied together
not having a save for the open mode was fucking aweful. i'm not playing through 50 fucking levels in one sitting thats rediculous.
They invested their time and money in the wrong genre.
>Swordfish
I love that thing so much, best Agrav in the game by far
Agreed. I think more focus on narrative or at least some more mission features would have helped. I think the mission variety is not bad, and the enemies are cool, but I'd like to see more objectives, like "destroy the convoy," "secure and evacuate," maybe even a siege mission or something. Kinda like what the Desert Strike series did sometimes.
To be fair Brigador is just the Strike series but with a large variety of vehicles instead of the helicopter, it's not exactly super innovative.
yeah they should have made another assfaggot clone am i right
I’ve only had the game about a week and a half so I’m not sure I know the difference, I think you’re referring to tank controls though? If you are, I have no idea how to turn them on, I didn’t see a setting for it in the options.
I know, it's actually more of a relatively dead genre- it's also got something in common with older games like Zeewolf and of course Walker. I just mean the attitude that something different is inherently less worthy of notice.
Painfully this
Shoulda had a short campaign for each character, kinda like SFV. How they were contacted, their personality, life after Novo Sobre, etc.
I got the game on steam and refund it because the support for pad was shit and can't change the layout.
Is it still the case ? I just want to play future cop LAPD next gen.
Of all the weapons in the game which one is the most brutal and why is the Black Hand
I forgot but yes, they fixed alot of the controller support
>one of the best cyberpunk worlds in the last years
>no story mode
Yes, this is what sank the game real hard
Don’t you mean the Chuffer or the bigger one that I can’t remember the name of?
