Literally did nothing wrong. The doctor deserved it.

I loved the bits of her true self she shown when talking about cars during the trial. I kept wondering what was Mia talking about
Except the mistake she made due to overwork. (Partially the doctor's fault, I admit)
Really tragic case, unfortunately. Anyway I don't have many pictures of her but I like her simple design. Too bad that we didn't met the actual little sister since she was my first waifu when I was a kid

I wonder why people disliked 2-2 again?

...

I think most people admit that 2-2 is a good case, 2-4 is god tier and 2-1/2-3 are absolute shit.

>2-3 is absolute shit
It's true that I had bad memories of this case, I'm about to replay it now. It had some bad pacing issues and boring moments, but... I liked Regina and the fabulous magician.

>2-3 is absolute shit
>Plots revenge

I think that she actually needed someone to comfort her
She should've tried to use channeling to at least present apologies to her sister and find peace

it still hurt my heart to this day

Why didnt she just...go somewhere else

It's pretty stupid. She's a little girl and it was an accident

Why the fuck do people hate JFA again?

For me 2-3 was not that bad but I get why people hate it so much and 2-4 been a master piece just make it feel worse.

*confesses under duress*

Cause
>muh t&t

>2-3
Oh and the coat flipping over is so dumb

How can a series spawn so many cuties to this day? I mena, how did they mastered it?

So...was she actually drunk+sleepy personality-wise? Or it was just a facade like ?

The only twist I would consider to be God-tier was the one from Ace Attorney 2. You cannot find a better one than that.

>I wonder why people disliked 2-2 again?
It wasn't casual friendly.

Probably because half of the cases were dumpster-tier

Ace Attorney Investigations 2.*

2-1 is meh
2-2 is good
2-3 is absolute dogshit
2-4 is god tier
All in all, it averages out to a good game, but it has a lot of strong competition. Every case in AA1 is good barring the Samurai case depending on taste, and every case in T&T is near god tier except maybe the cafe case.

The only case you can really make a case for being bad is 2-3. The others just happen to be dwarfed by 2-4 and the lack of a fifth case.

Should I replay the original trilogy again or play Spirit of Justice?

The only good first cases are 4-1 and AAI2-1. Prove me wrong.

Spirit of Justice is good, if you haven't played it yet.

2-2 and 2-3 were tragic as fuck, man.
The nurse having her life turning into a living hell because of overwork and then inadvertently killing a completely innocent person who happens to be your sister.

Having your brother nearly killed because of a simple prank and going full autism only to kill someone who was again completely innocent instead of your initial target
I'm glad they added that extra scene of Moe in the Anime calling Acro on his bullshit, though.

HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA!
HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA!

3-1 is good because of it's implications for the rest of the game(s).

>4-1 meme
Fuck off.

It was all an act. She drops it at the end of the case.

2-1 is bad except for Maggey if you're a waifufag. 2-2 is decent and 2-4 is amazing, but 2-3 is one of the worst of the trilogy. In addition to the cases themselces, the dynamic with Franziska is nowhere near as strong as it was with Edgeworth (including her interactions with Gumshoe), same thing goes for Pearl vs Maya. It kind of took until AA3 for them to write those dynamics comfortably. Plus the music was generally worse than the first game. Without 2-3 being so bad and AA3 improving most of AA2's elements, the reception would even out to "interesting ideas with flawed execution" probably.

4-1 unironically has some of the best twists in the series.

facade.

Mimi is one of my favorite characters in JFA. I liked Ini too, assuming Mimi's facade was accurate to the real deal.
Posting the only two images of them I have

2-1 being retarded as fuck in it's premise, the contradictions... Thankfully Gumshoe 's cross examinations were god tier
2-2 not fully delivering with Morgan but they fortunately redeemed her in T&T
2-3 being 2-3. If it wasn't for Moe I would have dropped the game

2-4 was such an improvement, never saw that kidnapping coming

I still haven't played SoJ. Please tell me it's better than DD?

>Moe in the Anime calling Acro on his bullshit
Acro was the only person in that entire circus who wasn't crazy. I haven't seen the scene myself so maybe it's okay, but calling that person out and not Regina or even the memory of the Ringleader is bullshit and makes the case even worse.

...

Jesus those fucking eyes

It's pretty good.

C-U-T-E, nice pics

Was the captain performant enough to satisfy her needs?

Nick as victim when?

>Attempting to murder an innocent little girl over an accident
>Using psychic powers to get the cape onto the bust
>Not crazy
user please

It's better than DD for sure.

New Switch game.

Someone mentioned it in thread, but I want the following for 7-1 or 7-3:

>Winston Payne murdered
>Gaspen Payne is the primary suspect
>Phoenix has to defend him
>Delves into the backstory of the Payne family of Rookie Killers.

>It wasn't casual friendly
Not knowing basic stuff about cars does not mean that you are a casual, I'm afraid. It was a long stretch

I mean, 6-1 is alright, at least. It introduces how the Khur'rain court system works and how biased it is against the defense, even more so than Japanifornia. It also sets up the rebel stuff well enough.

Ignorance and innocence are not the same thing.

Irrelevant

I wonder if the writers have the balls to pull this off? Anyway I think that is a great idea

That's a shame. Her fake personality was far more insteresting and amusing than the bubble-smoking girl she turned out to be.

Kay is best girl!

You probably both have brothers/sisters, because in my case I wasn't concerned at all with these cases. 3-4 destroyed me in comparison

I might be a brainlet but the only case I have ever actually got bored of in any ace attorney is the final one of the first investigations game. even the infamous video tape case from apollo, I just didn't really mind it.

I have to confess, I finished T&T using a gamefaqs walkthrough.

They might as well. Gaspen has basically supplanted his brother at this point in the series.

Was she a lesbo?

Why did you do that, user?

Nigga pls
The cage becomes amazing when you realise the first testimonies where from a staging

Maybe I'm the brainlet because I don't get how people were bored by AAI-5. I found Alba a totally engrossing and hateable villain.

Now that you mention it, it's a good occasion for everyone here to take a breath and confess. For what contradictions, in which games, did you felt the need to look a walk-through? If you can remember, obviously.

Hard mode :except from the vase on 1-5

The problem most people have is the case goes on for longer then it should. I didn't find it boring, I actually quite liked it but going back and thinking about it I feel like it sorta dragged on towards then end.

independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/woman-murder-husband-parrot-witness-don-t-shoot-convicted-michigan-glenna-duram-a7852476.html

>Looked up the vase thing online
>Still had to save scum to actually get the orientation to work.
I fucking love 1-5, but fuck that part.

She was extremely dependent on other people.
You can make of that what you will.

Why do people keep depicting her as a lesbian when she's clearly more fitted to be with Mr.Iffy

Almost never ever, and I never present evidence unless I have a real reason to think it may be correct either. It sucks whatever 'gameplay' the games have down to zero if you look up what to do, I don't see the point. I only ever looked up help just once, because I was completely stumped in a cross examination I had been on for about an honest hour. Turned out you had to press something, then press something else which leads to a question, answer it one way, then go back and press a previous statement, then return forward and press again and answer the question again. Something like that, something really ridiculous.

I think I looked at one for 2-4's final decision because I was really bad at AA games/reasoning at the time, and one for 3-2's last testimony for the same reason.

I felt that some parts are hard and I didn't know what to "Present", I kept Pressing every dialog but got stuck sometimes, and the last case got me so hyped that I wanted to know how the story ended asap, this is why. English is not my native language making everything harder too .

Big Top Turnabout was a dumpster fire until the twist which only served to make you sympathetic towards the killer.

...

Im currently emulating Layton VS Phoenix. Does this shit get better? So far I made it to the Labyrinthia Library and it has been a fucking snoozefest with the puzzles.

>Does this shit get better?
not really

If you love Layton games, yes in a sense

LA CREATURA

This motherfucker right here

If you didn't want to hug her at this moment you have no mitamah

La Luz extinguido....

>Investigations 2-1
>first "contradiction", still in the tutorial basically
>president has a red laser dot aimed at his forehead in a photo, very obvious
>game tells me that's where the contradiction is, but I can't figure out what I'm supposed to present
>Cycle through every piece of evidence till I get to a newspaper with his face on it
>music stops
>"As you can see by this article... The president DOESN'T NORMALLY HAVE A DOT ON HIS FOREHEAD!"
>feel like an idiot

I just assumed everyone already knew it was a laser dot from the gun, which we already established had a laser pointer.

One day Athena will be likable

Yeah, a lot of times I keep fucking up because I think some shit are so obvious and think everyone knows so I don't need to Present.

The reason why 2-3 is shit is because everyone apart from the victim and the murderer is a complete asshole, combined with the ridiculous logic leaps and A MONKEY STOLE YOUR BADGE. Acro really isn't the problem with 2-3.

>The killer is their sadistic half-sister Lafat Payne

the game is more for Layton fans. I mean Level 5 did make it, but Capcom just kind of was there. Great soundtrack tho.

I do this too often and go through a lot of penalties so I sometimes use a walkthrough if I don't immediately see the issue just so I don't have to restart the entire fucking day.

I love Layton games dont get me wrong, even the first courtroom part was pretty fun and maya a qt. I just don't remember any of the other layton games being this fucking ezpz with the puzzles this early on. Redflag for me if nothing else.

the puzzles are braindead in that one

>great soundtrack tho
The cross examinations themes were kino.

For those who played Conflict of Interest, you'll agree that it was perfectly in tone with the MN-5 flashback case, when we played Obadiah facing Gavin in court.

That's acceptable if English isn't your native but I gotta ask, was the game not localized for your region?

My main issue was how drawn out it was and how it was based around two fictional countries that I had to keep track of. Which one was the butterfly again? Wait who's got the real statue now? Shit I dunno.

It was a good case overall though.

The guy who made puzzles for layton died so the game got really shitty with the puzzles

Wasn't it after PLvsAA was released, though?

It had some good parts but it went on for way too long. Albas testimony never fucking ended and you had to rely on Oldbag of all people to bail you out.

Visual Novels are not video games. You should try another board.

so THAT'S why Miss Layton was shit. From a puzzle standpoint i mean.

He could have been too sick to work by that point or just retired
