"Hard but fair" my ass

In Old Yharnam, this old faggot sprays you with his Gatling gun, get stunned lock forever, and then another faggot comes to kill you. Fucking lost all of the blood echoes that I accumulated after Cleric Beast to that point.

I was fucking hiding behind objects and I still got hit. Fuck this shitty game.

Is that any more bullshit like the above I should be aware?

away, away

next time you dream, give some thought to gitting fuckin good

...

There was a lantern right before. Not cashing in is a bad idea in any souls game

>dude says not to continue or he'll fuck you up
>you continue anyways

Woooooooow how was I supposed to know?

I don’t think I lost a single echo to this fuck. If you think this is the bullshit part of old yharnam and not blood starved beast, you really need to quit now

>bullshit

The fucking game even warns you. It literally says everything what is happening and you still fucked up. Fucking soy boy.

Unironically the toughest fight in the game if you fight fairly. But you don't have to fight fair and there is plenty of opportunity to just push him off the edge.

>Fucking lost all of the blood echoes that I accumulated after Cleric Beast to that point.
>Old Yharnam
I don't understand why you'd not spend your blood echoes.

git gud

Fuck off, I haven't died to any bosses yet. Fucking Blood Starved Beast fight looks more like an opening level compared to that bullshit in the beginning.

Top fucking kek

...

"Hard, but fair" is the biggest fucking lie the Soulsborne playerbase is still trying to push. If you want that for real, play Super Meat Boy

It's fucking annoying in anything but DaS1. Especially BB with the awful loading times.

i hate when normies do this
fucking test your field before you sperg out and waste gorllion health vials at a boss or area that you have no idea of how to proceed
fucking test the area/boss see what works, what doesnt, use the less possible ammount of health if you think you can get through if not then stop sperging out, rinse and repeat until you git gud
when you`re ready begin using the health at your leisure when your confident you can get through the area/boss

Chaingun Bro isn't really meant to be passable unless you really plan ahead. There's a dropoff on the left of the staircase you go down where he initially shoots at you.
You hop down there and you'll be safe. then there's a room with oil urns that'll explode when he fires at them, so you'll want to time that run. And once you're past that, it's just a matter of running straight on and avoiding him/enemies for a while,

It's not too hard of a run once you get the hang of it. Don't worry, he surprises everybody on their first go.

>not levelling every stat sequally and spending the rest on vials

>awful loading times
It's not 2015 anymore, the meme doesn't work now.

whats the point when my method actually helps you to git gud to the point that you become more and more advanced as you progress that vials just pile up and you barely use any

Yes
Enemies with grab attacks can teleport you into them

>hurr let me dodge to the direction shes attacking

>dying on purpose to avoid spending vials
Literally retarded

Stop being a scaredy cat.
You sprint past the enemies, go up the ladders, and immediately start blasting him with your shotgun/pistol, this will stumble him over the edge. I have never once fucked this up.

>Hoarding blood echoes
>Surprised when the loss felt is even greater

This is your brain on FROM games

Prometheus school of running away from things

>this is your brain when you can't git gud

its not dying on purpose you faggot its called trial and error
you cant just suddenly become good at something when you dont iron out the kinks here and there
the idea is that you dont even have to do what i said as you progress because you get accustomed to the games mechanics and essentially git more gud to the point that health becomes meaningles, that you barely use any and instead use rallying to your potential

>getting that close to winter lanterns in the first place

I've tried to fight them on a couple occasions, but I always registered them as just walking hazards and should be given a wide fucking berth

Just run up there and kill him then you gayboy.

>Implying I have enough stamina first
>Implying I actually know the area first
>Implying this isn't my first playthrough
Fuck you faggot

>reeeeeeee I died and lost all my blood echoes reeeeeeeee fuck this game reeeeeee
>lel only filthy casuls level up hehe
Go fuck yourself retard, stop complaining about the game

mate you dont have to sprint non stop to hm you bellend
run to the nearest cover
wait it out
then the next
wait out his shooting then the next
all the while you kill those werewolfs fucks
then slowly clear them out
clear out that fucking hunter that pokes you and does the moonwalk back
then go up to the faggot and push him down the ledge
or just ignore him
you can come back later and he`ll even pardon you and the fight wont even be necessary

They drop high level bloodgems. Especially good if you don't like doing chalices.
Ones in nightmare of mensis also guard a +18% damage droplet gem (goes into any slot).

Like any souls game, you got punished for rushing in and mashing r1 like a brainless retard.

Just watch any old twitch titty streamer play souls games they dont even look at the screen half the time and breeze through it.

Have you tried not getting hit?

The first time, I got stunned lock to death after I got shot. The second time, I hid between covers and then a fucking enemy Hunter shows up. The bullets even went through the cover that I was hiding behind and I got fucked afterword because I tried to dodge both shits. It fucking bullshits no matter what.

hug the left, kill all enemies, if u get shot roll, run all the way to the tower he is shooting from, climb it and kill em (he will most likely an hero during the fight) climb back down and take out the other fag. If he does an hero then go back to town and come back and climb the tower again to get the badge.
There's also a neat lookin set you can get by falling off the buildings to the right.

Stop trying to kill all the enemies in the zone faggot.

I already get pass that shit and beaten B.S Beast. I am here to ask if there any more future bullshits that I should be aware of.

Rush towards him with the threaded cane and attack him until you both fall. It worked for me.

I don't really know how to answer that. The whole game is tough the first time through if it's your first Souls game. Rom is notoriously bullshit for a lot of people. Other than that, personally I think the game is fairly easy after that point. Except the fucking wintern lanterns.

One thing difficulty fags won't admit is that trial and error is not a good design. If something kills you because you didn't know it was there, that's entirely the game's fault for not making it clear. I don't know about OP's example because I haven't gotten there yet(haven't played at all, in fact) but proper introduction is key. If you meet an enemy for the first time and it rapes your ass before you get to see what it does, you have to spend your next life remembering where it was so that you don't get your shit kicked in. Is this truly fun?

>waaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh the games too haard waaaaaaaaaahhhhhh

Get good pussy.

It isn't going to fuck you outright if you have any kind of decent reaction time and sense of logical reasoning

Not everyone enjoys reddit 2D platformers, soy.

You got stun locked to death? You must have been on low health because I just got shot in the area and after a couple shots I managed to roll out of it.
There are a BUNCH of objects that protect your, your head must have been at a specific angle, also, you are faster than his tracking, I think even if you are walking, if you just dont stop moving you are safe. Yo ucan survive all the drops and ignore the entire safe way, and after you are past the first wooden bridge, NOTHING follows you down. I dont know whats so hard about it. They were even decent enough to make the gatling gun guy to be defeatable by gravity REALLY easily and you can even make him passive if you leave this area for later. Also, Bloodstarved is 100% optional

>I'm completely inept at observing my environment
Literally every surprise is avoidable if you don't run in like a retard

Honestly I felt like BB was the closest to bullshit difficulty the souls games got. The hunters are anti-fun.

It is my first Soulsborne game, pretty comfy so far beside that part. I also bought the DLC as well, any bullshits in there?

Except the game does make it really clear. They are even nice about it: "hey, you got hit by a sudden attack you didn't expect or notice the wind-up of? Here, get in there and get that entire life back, but pay attention the next time!"
Honestly, Bloodborne has been the easiest soul game for me thus far. Learned how to dodge on Gascoigne, and after him, the only boss to not be one-shotted were some chalice ones and just two or maybe three bosses. I'm on the last area btw.
Just stop for a second, and look around. Also listen carefully. You have 4 hit combos on two buttons plus a secondary mode for your weapon, and all weapons are pretty good. So maybe try somthing else, becase you should have all the coverage you will ever need in the entire game by the time you get the badge by the pig in Yarhnam sewers

That grab is the least irritating thing about those cunts.

Just to answer you, I have no idea cuz i don't have it yet. I've got 500+ hours in the base game though and the plat. It was and still is really fun. Good to hear you're enjoying it - frustration aside.

Literally had no problems with any of them ever. Got killed once by the trio on Yahargul. Just dont be afraid to heal, I see people trying to not waste their health flasks like you cant farm 30 of them in under 10 minutes in the easiest area in the game. Parry all day everyday or just cheese them if you are that bad, their A.I. goes nuts with geometry

lmaaooooo

Soy needs to be a banned word on Sup Forums

fuck you soyboy

I was a full health at level 15, I got continuous shot at and pushing down a small step with a beast nearby. I don't know about you but I was only able to roll out of it if there something behind me to stop the stun lock.

shit, or some say shitter....

I assumed OP was just being a retard and that a game like Bloodborne wouldn't have shitty design, but it got me thinking about other "difficult" games where you repeat the same shit over and over just to figure it out, only to have to figure out even more bullshit along the way. The way to go imo is to make things that are easy to see coming but not easy to avoid, rather than vice versa.

What your health stat at? There doesn't exist a mechanic i nthe game where somethin behind you stops the stun lock. His spray has very clear gaps in between in you stop to look at it from coverage, you must have not pressed dodge during one, because I got fucking shot a lot because I was being impatient like you and dodged out every single time.
Also, fucking level 15 my dude? Either you started as Waste of Skin or you have just not been collecting those blood echoes my dude, that is challenge-run levels of low almost

...

I pick Military Veteran and only had put 5 level in my endurance. I was comfortable with the heath because of the I. frame.

>putting points in endurance in Bloodborne
If you can do a 4-hit combo and dodge, nigger, that is all you will ever need

I think trial and error is fun, I really enjoy it. I'm glad people make games for people like me who enjoy this kind of thing. The beauty is we can both play on different games or difficulty so we both have something to enjoy.

>If you can do a 4-hit combo and dodge, nigger, that is all you will ever need
Implying that I am complaining about that when I am complaining about getting cheesed. I fucked that old faggot on the tower up after I get up there.

While we're posting these.

Oh man, I fucking love Bloodborne

I also had one where Alfred went literally nuclear for exactly one frame

I think trial-and-error should be treated like you treat a spice. A little of it here and there is good but most of the difficulty should come from challenges that are fair and obvious. It's not fun when you frequently lose to bullshit that you couldn't have possibly been expected to know, but if it happens once or twice it kicks you into gear and heightens your experience. For this reason, I'll never consider shit like I Wanna Be The Guy or Kaizo Mario to be good games, especially fucking Kazio Mario. Who can honestly say that they enjoy Kazio Mario?

You should have spent it after Cleric Beast

Spending after a boss is too risky imo

As for your question: Yes

>due to bloodborne being on psplus Sup Forums will be full of beastly idiots like OP making threads this month

I have the game, faggot.

>In Old Yharnam, this old faggot sprays you with his Gatling gun, get stunned lock forever, and then another faggot comes to kill you. Fucking lost all of the blood echoes that I accumulated after Cleric Beast to that point.
Have you considered that you should have spent your blood echos, instead of whining that you lost them?
>I was fucking hiding behind objects and I still got hit. Fuck this shitty game.
Have you considered not standing still in firing range? Have you considered hiding behind a solid wall and not hiding behind breakable objects?
>Is that any more bullshit like the above I should be aware?
Probably, if you consider what you are bitching about now.
