I used to think Deus Ex was sort of outrageous, but every now and then I catch a glimpse of our growing pace towards augmentation technology (and robotics in general) and I can see it blossoming into a revolution much like the internet. I think the next two decades will see some very big developments with it at the same time as early space colonization.

Yes, System Shock 2 from a gameplay perspective, but it's philosophical themes are subtle and fewer.
