Improved destruction made Multiplayer great but it shat the bed story wise because it tried to hard to be serious but dragged the BC1 crew along for the ride.

Instead ammo should be supplied to the LMG.

because an LMG consumes more ammo/at-a-faster-rate than any other gun. (or is supposed to anyway).
though Frankly I think Bad Company 2 was the beginning of Battlefield turning into shit, since it started off without dedicated servers or mod support.

Arica Harbor and Isla de Innocentes were by far my favorite maps to play on, especially because they had such drastically different approaches for Rush

That's realistic, sure. However, one of DICE's immutable balance concepts is that the medic always has the best all-round gun class as their primary, so either Mgs belong to the Mg/infantry class and get ammo (since there's fuck all else skills for those classes) or medics get the MG.
Autrorepair vehicles made them more or less obsolete.
I always considered Heavy Metal to be the best, probably not for infantry but for Vehicles

BC2 was too fucking good.
Loved the game, but fuck Dice for never fixing how on a bunch of maps if you had a tank you could snipe MCOMs from the other side of the map.
Also didn't like how you could just take down buildings to kill an MCOM but that wasn't as egregious.
Or destroy MCOMs with enough explosives, which was kind of a double-edged sword for me.
On one hand I could solo carry my team if no one else actually bothered attacking. On the other, that could happen to me or even worse, when the enemy team had 2 or more guys working together by placing a bunch of C4s on an UAV and oneshotting the MCOM, which completely ruined the rest of the match.

Hell yeah, I always flew the transport heli as a mobile spawn point, which became a real killing machine if you had competent gunners and an engi in the back to repair
Being able to destroy MCOMs with explosives and collapsed buildings was half the fun of BC2. The MCOM timer is solid primary mechanic, but its always good to have multiple strategies availible.

BC2 had the best Rush mode in the series. Conquest in BF has always been total shit because it's almost impossible to make comebacks and they make the maps too fucking large.
Rush in BC2 was just perfectly set up. it was a great balance between scripted action and dynamic stuff. Rush in BF3 was absolute shit because every map was huge as fuck and had entry points from everywhere, rather than a tight linear path, and there was barely any alert when a bomb was planted so nobody actually rushed to defend it
