Nope, instakill headshot is still a thing and the hitboxes are still fucked. I have kill cams where the enemy was clearly aiming at my chest and yet the game claims it was headshot. Still the most fun fps game to play tho

It's a shame it was so fucking bland. Good gunplay, great customisation for characters and guns, but I couldn't tell you a single memorable moment I had in the game.
Didn't help that the squad reeked of "HOW DO YOU DO FELLOW CHILDREN", and you couldn't customise them, so you'd be kitted out in military gear, but they'd pal around dressed like hipsters.
Oh, and the enemy AI were as dumb as a box of rocks, but if one of them even got a whiff of one of your farts, they'd instantly all know where you were.
Hell, I've been playing the Division lately, because the gunplay's similar, and despite it being a game of numbers, I actually have fun with it.

This, close quarter combat is utter garbage but medium-long is fun.
Was always partial to Halo's honestly, it got stale after awhile though and 343 definitely didn't shake things up in a way I appreciated

I like Siege, but I wouldn't say the gunplay itself is all that good. The gun sounds are weak as hell and don't feel like they have much umph. Insurgency does gunplay far better.

Face it: Siege has shit hitboxes/hitreg whatever is the cause here.

I was actually really surprised with BF4 having not played a Battlefield since Bad Company 2... and I didn't really like BC2 compared to BF2. There's serious attention to detail; they even correctly implemented the AN-94's 2-burst mode.

Every game with guns has really quiet guns, save for a select few. I've always liked Arma and insurgency having earplugs to muffle the sound a bit. Guns are fuckin loud as shit
IIRC BC2 didn't give the 2-burst higher fire rate or delay recoil until after the 2nd shot.

Now while I love the Halo series, the gunplay isn't realistic at all or the best out of the rest of the games mentioned here. The gunplay for Halo suits the style of game it is perfectly though and I wouldn't have Halo 1-3 any other way.
