I wasn't counting spinoffs. Otherwise, we'd have to include Sonic 4 episodes 1 and 2, the fairytale games on wii, and the Sonic advance titles(which I personally think are boring), and Shadow the hedgehog. Ultimately, modern Sonic's success score would end up even lower.

I don't know, I just feel that the gunplay and the sonic formula is at odds with itself, mission structure is complete and utter arse unless you are doing the neutral route, looks prettu ugly running off the hero's engine and by god the story is complete shit and ruins Shadow's character. Don't get me started on chaos control is useless for 90% of the hero missions and chaos blast stops you dead in your track killing momentum, something that shouldn't be happening in a sonic game.

I will admit some of the weapons are nice to use, like the chicken gun.
