I'd say that's mostly smaller children. Nowadays, if you're between 13~16, unless you do a sport you probably spend most of your time inside. When I was 17, me and my friends were very much still like young kids -- we'd go build forts in the wood, set things on fire, find little creatures in the pond, and things like video games were played together in social settings, not by screaming at each other over Xbox Live.
