Hey kids, ready to skip through a wall of dialogue you don't care about?
Hey kids, ready to skip through a wall of dialogue you don't care about?
What kind of fucked up high school has regular lectures on the occult?
just finished it again and fuuuck this guy
his lectures were way too long and about fucking nonsense
WANT TO BE CLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSE
Congrats retards. You missed the entire point of his character.
what are you gay? all his foreshadowings were top tier
>there are cowards that skipped Edogawa's dialogue
it wasn't super interesting but it's not like there was enough of his stuff to warrant skipping it over
It's some of the worst foreshadowing I've ever seen. Instead of working it naturally into the story, you just have Mr. Foreshadowing lecturing you on the most irrelevant shit at the time. It's like the problem most writers have with exposition except far worse because that at least doesn't bore the audience to tears.
> He doesnt want to be educated on entry level psychology
they were interesting and my first exposure to c.g jung
fuck off nigger
Imagine actually skiping this shit
Might as well skip the whole game
ITT pleb filter
>not going to his office after class for a supplementary lesson
Those lectures literally explain the plot of the game though
yeah i learned so much about the plot of the game when he described what every single major arcana of the tarot represents one by one
Edogawa was one of the few parts of the school segments with personality.
But user
The arcana is the means by which ALL is revealed
Edogawa represents the last remains of old persona in the new series with all his weird psychology and occult rants
he worked for the kirijo group in their spoopy experiements, same with the shopkeeper that trades in gems
Holy fuck, did people not like the teachers in P3? They're fucking great, with Edogawa teaching weird occult shit, Toriumi who always goes way off topic, the history guy who only ever really teaches you about the Edo era. All of them were pretty funny, especially him and Toriumi.
I don't even remember the other teachers, besides Toriumi but only because of her social link not because of any class interactions.
That's a damn shame. P3 has the best teachers out of 3-5.
To be fair, I remember NONE of the teachers who didn't get social links. I tended to disregard the high school part of things.
Literally little children with no attention spans.
Can't stand a short info dump in a fucking RPG.
The high school parts are what make the games so melancholic to me. I always talked to every NPC in the schools and a lot of them are surprisingly memorable and interesting. Especially the people with sidequests in 4.
I was introduced to persona with an LP of the first game so my interest has always been the people who find themselves in these crazy rpg stories. I was so upset that in P5 everyone took the phantom thief shit in stride.
The only one I still remember is the one girl who wanted to fuck Mitsuru.
I wasn't really angry, but I was a bit disappointed that someone's heart being stolen gets thrown in the trash as a rumour of the past a week after it happens.
what was the point
Edogawa, you think you're the champion of talking endlessly about pointless shit no one cares about and skips through?
*snips snaps behind you*
Heh, nothing personnel kid
idk what you mean
maybe on a replay i guess
but i loved this guy on the first run
best teacher in the series after Kawakami of course
i appreciate his character and the stuff he talks about is legitimately interesting but it always came up at points when i was more focused on getting through social links and didn't want to sit through his lectures which were noticeably longer than the other teachers'
>Skipping the one teacher you should actually pay attention to
Man, no wonder P1 and 2 are dead in the water.
He's not a normal teacher, he's the School Nurse and just sometimes acts as a Substitute when the normal teachers want to call in sick.
Not that guy but I'm pretty sure he's one of the guys who worked on the Anti Shadow Suppression Weapon project.
What's this from?
>I was introduced to persona with an LP
Except his lectures were very interesting and only brainlets wouldnt like them
The shitty fighting game. It covered a dumb plot about that robot girl (who has a brooklyn accent for some reason) having a pet puppy.
Serious
good post
Why do Orpheus and Izanagi have similar backstory?
Because many stories are universal among human cultures, and it's a very simplistic "descend and return" myth, or a "hero's journey".
Other very common myths include floods washing away the old world and fire/forbidden knowledge getting stolen from the heavens.
