prepare for a lot of reading

It's a shitty """game""" that would've been better of being a book.

great story, characters, setting
bad combat

Everything enemy is overpowered as fuck

I would't recomend it if you havent played many wrpg's, as it tries to avoid or subvert cliches.
Don't listen to the combat is bad memers, it's on par with baldur's gate or icewind dale so if you like the combat in those you should be fine.

updated my journal

bumo

Wisdom is your best stat to the point of being a mandatory choice, pump that shit up at character creation to 18.

The "gameplay" is garbage but the dialogue is what makes it worth playing through.

the combat is not even fucking comparable

the story is just good in general. pnp rpgs aside

you gain levels by reading, not by combat. talk to everyone you feel like.

you aren't going to find everything even in three entire runs so just treat it like essentially an open unvierse story

Not really, have fun.

Don't trust the Skull.

Trust the Skull.

Do not throw away crowbar.

don't kill the zombies

Prepare to update your journal

Skull's cool, you can trust it.
Also dump points into wisdom > int > cha if you want dialogue options.
Keep trash, hammer and crowbar when you find them.
Visit Fell after quests, his stock changes.

bu

>planescape
>have fun

Put your points in wisdom followed by intelligence

What about charisma

combat is garbage. mage is OP. dump ya points in charisma/int/wis.

Hold onto the crowbar
Become a mage ASAP, the combat without magic is dumb
You'll appreciate it more if you play some other older WRPGs first, it's subverts the concept
Don't look up walkthroughs even if the game is impressively huge in scope, there's nothing particularly hard, most things will solve themselves if you interact with everyone and read your journal

Don't trust the skull.

Trust the skull.

Annah > Fall-from-Grace

Gather your party before venturing forth.

>Hold onto the crowbar
I vaguely remember the crowbar being semi-useful at the beginning but it's not a vital item. Am I wrong?

Deionarra > Annah = Fall-from-Grace

Why is this game so comfy?

Don't open it.

KEEP THE BRONZE SPHERE

KEEP YOUR ORGANS

AND NEVER
EVER
EVER TELL VHAILOR ANYTHING ABOUT BEING IMMORTAL

I'm 13 hours in and I haven't even done the first major quest, yet. Reading can get tiresome but I'm getting the hand of it. Don't worry too much about evil/good/neutral/chaos allignment, just do your thing. I'm doing my best do serve my interested while not being a total asshole, sure I kill the average innocent citizen every now and then.
People keep talking about magic but I really don't feel like being a mage, so my initial build is like 14STR 16DEX 12CHA 13CON.
I'm actually enjoying it a lot, hope I get to enjoy it as much as I do, but read plays the major part of it. Talk to everyone, and try all the different aproaches in dialogue. (If given the option, and as long as it doesn't breaks your RP)
Have fun, OP! I sure am :)

>I hope I get to enjoy it as much as I do.

There is no spoon...

but there is a fork.

itt overatted crap

yes you hear it right

I'll bet anyone 8/10 people on Sup Forums never played it
>overrated
You guys a fucking retarded.

wisdom/intelligence/charisma are great to minmax because they open up a lot of dialogue options in a game that is filled with dialogue. many fights can be avoided with dialogue

Don't trust the fucking skull

DON'T GO TO THE POCKET DIMENSION WITH A FULL PARTY

Max out Wisdom, then Intelligence, then Charisma.
Go see Mebbeth in the Ragpicker's square asap and change your class to Mage (to go with your stats).
Keep the Bronze Sphere
Keep every piece of yourself you find (eye, guts, arm etc)

maybe consider trusting the skull

Its a good game mah nigga

You are NOT in a hurry, and neither is the game.
You will not be amazed when you start, it takes time for the narrative to really get going. You should take this time to immerse yourself. This game comes from a time when people's imaginations had not been stunted yet and patience was a virtue.
Don't play it, it sucks. Tides of Numenera is what you want.

The gameplay is god awful. The rest is okay.

Cursed weapons seem annoying until you realise you can change class and still have them equipped
