You can tell when a "journalest" has no actual education on a given mater if they have to write the article in a Gonzo format, framing the article as a story narrative around themselves. They misunderstand how Hunter S.Tompson used it to frame the piece around the temperature of the political climate in an empathetic means, but when used for shit like videogames it comes off as trite trite trite.

Because they don't play them. Its as simple as that. They're just paid to write about them, and write about them in as clickbatey way as possible. Its not the 80s or early 90s anymore, few in journalism actually understand the subject they write about. Those days are long gone.
