What do you fags think of this game? Should i cough up $60 right now or wait for it to go on sale
What do you fags think of this game? Should i cough up $60 right now or wait for it to go on sale
Wait for the patch in like a week or two.
No game is worth $60.
No. It simply doesn't fucking work. I had to restart my game several times due to bugs and what happens? Another fucking game breaking bug. I was liking it but it is pretty much unplayable right now.
Just beat it recently loved it man, waiting on the patch for the second playthrough. The story is pretty good and I like the combat. The character are all reasonable people one of things I like the most, especially Radzig
I didn’t have a single game breaking bug on pc. Did have a incredibly annoying one, no fast travel events
are you playing on a console or pc port? I never had the game crash on me. I did have a bunch of hilarious skyrim type bugs happen to me though
I had a good time with it. Edited together random clips from goofing around and added music to make a somewhat coherent mini movie. I missed getting lost into games, even when they can be kind of clunky and buggy.
Yes.
Personally, I'll wait a little bit before more mods pop up.
>I had to restart my game several times due to bugs and what happens? Another fucking game breaking bug.
No, you didn't.
If you haven’t bought it already I’d wait for the new patch to drop in the next couple of days before buying it. I can’t progress in the main quest because of bugs and there are multiple main quest bugs
>banned for exposing the echo chamber the mods have created
what a shithole
>sees pic
I don't get it.
>game takes place in medieval Czech Republic
>DAS GAME IS RAYCISS
well no shit you dumb niggers it's supposed to be realistic.
I'm on PC and I constantly get a bug where once the main quest requires me to interact with Ginger, it's impossible. He walks around town as if everyone isn't dead and not him nor the charcoal guys have any dialogue options.
You've waited this long, you may as well wait a few more days to see how the first patch fixes the game up and more mods will likely have come out by then too. It's a great game marred by bugs that can range from funny to frustrating as fuck. Some are lucky enough not to encounter them but it only takes a single main quest bug to cause you to restart your 30 hour playthrough.
What's the likelihood those forum members are just Sup Forumsirgins trolling?
wait for 50% off
It's fun, but it's single player. If you don't have buds to discuss it with, wait for a price drop.
or just pirate it like i did.
what is it like to be poor?
>I'm on PC and I constantly get a bug where once the main quest requires
No, you don't.
Ok I can't read your pictures for ants so stop replying to me you autist. I think I would know what my game is doing more than you.
I like the game and all but the Ginger quest bug is well known now, why lie about it? It's not like the user is dissing the game, he's just complaining about a bug that's affected a lot of people.
Why the fuck would you ever pay retail price for a steam game when there are CD key resellers that offer the exact same shit for cheaper?
lockpicking alone is so fucked that it basically doesnt work. I had to download a mod to disable lockpicking just to progress through the game. fucking retard developers.
Lockpicking is piss easy to do though. It's pickpocketing that's beyond fucked.
I tried the tutorial lockpick event and i fuckin couldnt do it. I had basically infinite retries and it just didnt work. Im not a shitty gamer either, the fucking mechanics are just too fucked
I did neither and still played it, it must have been magic
>a bug that's affected a lot of people.
You mean like the same 7 webm's that are spammed every thread that no one has even intentionally been able to recreate?
What's so hard about it? Move the cursor around until it turns yellow, then turn the lock while keeping the cursor in that yellow spot.
We're not talking about those webms though, we're talking about the Ginger bug. A bug so infamous that the devs put out a small hotfix last week to try to fix it because it was affecting too many people.
You might be legitimately retarded, user. Lockpicking is easy as shit. Just go around in a circle at the same speed the tumbler moves. That's fucking it.
If that's too difficult for you, I can only assume you're some kind of gaming journalist.
Pirate it.
What for a sale. It's hardly ever worth it to buy a game at full price at launch.
Are you being paid by the devs? I can't think of another reason you would deny this very real bug so much.
he's saying that anyone talking shit about the game is a paid SJW shill
Even the devs acknowledged the bug and said it's one of their top priorities in terms of fixes.
I pirated the game and have about 25 hours in, and haven't encountered a single "game breaking bug that makes it impossible to play like urgh I can't even right now don't play this toxic game see look at these 7 webm's".
I doubt he even owns the game, probably a poorfag from Sup Forums trying desperately to push the "This game is an absolute masterpiece!" narrative. The game's fun mate, but it was Fallout 3 on release levels of buggy and there's no reason to lie about it.
That's cool, good for you that you haven't encountered any bugs yet. Unfortunately, not everyone has been so lucky.
Not him but for me the lock picking once got bugged and there was no circle that would turn yellow anymore. Had to reload an older save.
Serious GOTY contender, but the bugs are the only thing holding it back. If you can't wait make sure you get save mod because there are game breaking bugs that will prevent you from progressing. With the save mod you can atleast load to an earlier save, provided you have been saving in good increments.
I put the game away for now, I'll go back to it in a few months when its patched by either devs or modders.
Typical pc shitter has to mod to beat the game even though lockpicking is infinitely harder on a controller
im using a controller you cunt
controller & mouse/kb are fucked. lockpicking is impossible. even if I could get it its not worth the 1/100 chance it succeeds, so I got a mod for infinite saves & instant unlocks
Yeah, that happens to me too. You'll have to quit the game and restart it for the circle to appear again or just brute force the lock by spinning wildly until you find the sweet spot. It's annoying as fuck whenever it happens and you haven't saved in forever.
I've tried lockpicking on both m+kb and controller, both were easy though controller was a tad harder. I honestly can't imagine living with hand-eye coordination as bad as yours.
Moron. I said I like the game. It doesn't work for me.
where is the patch lads
vavra said "later this week" on the 27th
That's utterly pathetic. It should take you 3 tries max to get the hang of it. You might have actual brain damage.
I only downloaded the infinite saves mod because I heard the game was buggy, but it turns out the only blotchy part is the horse if you're going SANIC speeds through dense forests.
keep lying, kiddo. im sure all the other Sup Forums kiddies are impressed with your """"""skills""""""
>defends the game to death
>he pirated it
hahahaahha holy fuck cant believe no one realizes this guy is trolling
It's not even a skill to be proud of considering it's basic motor skills we all developed while growing up. It's like common sense, you don't go around wearing it as a badge of honor, you're just dumbfounded when you meet someone who lacks it.
You really are fucking retarded not even him. Lockpicking because extremely easy after you hit level 3 and get the durable lockpick perk. I had really bad problems with pickpocketing but other people seem to have it working so it's probably not even that bad.
Now fucking WH is going to patch the lockpicking and make it even more piss easy than it already is.
It's alright, spent all weekend playing it. Only bug I've encountered is using alchemy tables outside of Rattay will levitate Henry for each action you take, eventually propelling him to the sky box and probably killing him, possibly wasting you hours of progress but really nothing I haven't seen in Bethesda games.
My most major gripe with the game probably has to do with design decisions though.
>full plate armor makes you virtually invincible
>you can't repair armor that is damaged beyond a certain percentage with toolkits, which is especially bad for cloth armor since it damages incredibly easily
>but it doesn't matter anyway cause eventually you become so strong you kill fully armoured dudes with a broken bludgeon in one hit
>you get dirty as fuck walking 5 feet and you need to go to a bathhouse that isn't located in every town to get fully clean
>generally a lot of tedium that I think can be cut out
whats the point of cleaning up anyways
I honestly can't imagine how much easier lockpicking can get. I dissed pickpocketing earlier but even then it's not that it's hard, it's just really unclear what factors contribute to easier pickpocketing which makes it seem to not be working as intended.
It adds charisma or something but I don't really care about that, it's quite irritating when you're wearing fancy clothes in town and it looks all fucked up from the dirt. It's just a minor gripe that tugs at my autism.
> WH is going to patch the lockpicking
probably cause its fucking BUGGY IMPOSSIBLE
did you think of that?
Agreed, most of those have some weird design surrounding them, most of which are related to balance issues. You can get some mods to help with the cleanlines and repairing issues you have, but most of the glitches are unfixable by mods unfortunately. I also wouldn't recommend any of the weapons/armor balance mods that are out now either, most of them aren't fine tuned yet and can result in some frustrating or overly easy fights.
>It's fun, but it's single player. If you don't have buds to discuss it with, wait for a price drop.
What the fuck is this gay extrovert garbage
enemies parry everything too easily I find
and then sometimes you'll just randomly kill people in 1 hit.
Want to have your mind blown?
I also emulate great SNES games... without owning a physical copy.
wait for at least update 1.5+
It's good. But:
Food system is rendered useless by the free pots.
You get rich and fully armored way too easy.
People can't even hurt you in fistfights.
It's hard to know what is timed and what isn't actually pressing.
There is a lot of land but just not that much stuff there. Cool for hunting though.
Load times are a major drag on everything you do.
Still, I'm enjoying it.
pirate it like I did
use fitgirl
a game can still be "decent but not worth the price"
you can even judge the game more fairly because you're not being forced to justify your purchase
