The anime adaption being shit, and the dub being even worse.

Seriously, read the manga, especially if you enjoyed the anime. The anime buttchers the best parts of the manga and outright excludes entire arcs.

It is, the only good thing about the anime is the OST is great, and the song scenes (such as Very melon) got improved

2. Gash sounds violent, since a "gash" is a deep wound (hence the slag)

I could never come to terms with Umagon his master should have been Mizuno, not literally who.
I mean, i liked Kafka but the fucker just comes out of nowere and expects us to care about his backstory so late into the show.

Well, what really screwed the aniime up is that the Mangaka injured hiis hand around the middle of the third arc, so the anime just had to make shit up and kept going, and then the voice actress that voiced gash retired, so they just ended the anime at that arc.

But even before then, the anime just never really captured the tone of the manga that well: It focused and played up the lighter, comedic elements and slice of life stuff and downplayed the darker parts (pic related); the anime was clealrly more aimed at kids then the manga was

I honestly don't think she would have worked well in a major role like that, I think it would have defeated the point of her character.

I was re-watching this series awhile ago. I thought the games and ideas were pretty cool. The show was very childish but it did have some decent, serious plot points.

Read the manga, it's much better and has a better balance of the childish to more mature shit

I think that's why the anime was more tone down. They could only do so much content with child looking characters.

Would have still been better if it had only been released in Japan.

For a dropped plot device character Cherish's "You poor boy." line in the manga is the GOOD SHIT(tm)
Also could've literally deflected all of Jauro Zakeruga by herself if she weren't focusing on the pillars, and Zeon's immense battle experience told him it was outright overkill on her
Sure she would've been utterly decimated after that but still, that was great
King Festival arc went TOO FAST
not only was the final battle a bunch of zoomed-out effect nonsense, but Brago got shafted
Shin Baberuga Gurabidon(or Gravidon if the b just bothers you that much) is a Shin spell sure -and- he uses a bit of the Earth's magnetic field to empower it, but Baou Zakeruga is literally a spell that no only eats other spells, but eats negative emotion as well(Dufaux loses for this sole reason, Zeon's legit surprised when Baou sucks the hate out of him) and it's also THE ULTIMATE SPELL OF THE PREVIOUS WINNER. And that cloak, sheeeeit.
If it at least showed him losing in a really pitched battle I could kind of accept it(hero's gotta win in a story like this unless it's Shaman King) but it's just a bit of a starter battle and then it cuts away, then cuts back to their ultimates and Brago gets fucking trashed.

I fucking remembered all that shit happening when the anime was airing. It was a weird time when you hear the news but you dont actually get the subs till a week or two later

Paladins is listening to its community and making the game better with good changes while Overwatch rips off a character from Paladins and continues to have gameplay problems like Hanamura still existing. Remind me why Overwatch is still the better game agian? Is it the small indie developer Blizzard? The charming and original characters?
