If you see 2 fire mages, they're essentially the same character. Roughly the same gear, the same talents, and if both of them are half decent, the same ability rotation. This also applies to every other class and spec in the game, at least when I stopped playing last month. Bonus points for someone's justification for one talent was "a calculator told me to." when the talent is 80% wasted 90% of the time.

An extreme example but think like in Guild Wars 2, every class can do every role for 90% of the game. There basically 3 classes and the rest are the same just with different aesthetics, and everyone uses the same build

The only classes with class specific utility are mages/shamans/hunters, who are interchangeable. When a pug raid leader is building a group, he doesn't say he needs one of them, he says he needs bloodlust. Not to mention people have forgotten rogues exist outside of pvp, since most other melee classes do everything better. Everyone is boiled down into a number to anyone forming a group, because utility died a couple of expansions ago. The overlap between classes is insane, not to mention that some classes may as well only have one spec.

I quit when i realized that i have to play all the week and pay monthly for 4-6 hours of raiding. Because there's nothing enjoyable about the game, not even the classes themselves, just the raids. There's also m+ now but it's too little too late.

People still buy them and you can make around ~60k depending on your server.

The only thing you need for Mythic raiding is 75 traits in your artifact, which is like 2 days of grinding, and enough gold for flasks/food, assuming your guild is scrubs that don't use Feasts and Cauldrons.
Eventually you'd probably want to get exalted with Army of the Light for the augment rune, but that's extremely minor and also extremely easy. So what exactly do you need to play all week for?

For gear numbnuts, most of my gear is from m+ just like everybody else.

M+ gear is total garbage. You have two slots dedicated to Legendaries, 4 to tier pieces, one to you Pantheon trinket, you second trinket most definitely comes from Antorus. Half your gear by definition cannot come from M+, and Heroic Antorus gives better gear than any level M+ aside from your once a week chest.
There's literally no point to running more than a handful of M+ in a week if you're actively raiding. It gives bad gear, bad AP, and doesn't even have a particularly good chance to drop legendary items.

PvP talents have to go.

Classes should be reverted to mop. One of the biggest failures of this expansion and the next is dog shit pruned class design.

Ah, I know you'll hate me for it, but I can sort of understand them trying to keep classes relatively simple.

I think it's because - as usual - to appeal to new players. The old players are getting bored with the game after 14 years, and if the classes were like they were in Vanilla/BC/WotLK with all the added shit since then, it would be impossible for anyone who just started this year or last year to be competetive at all.
I quite for 7 years and when i came back i felt like I don't know fuckall about any of the classes anymore and I still can't into PvP because I don't know how other classes play, and don't have the time to get to know all of them either.
If i've been playing these past 10 years, I'm sure i'd be pissed off as well though for them oversimplifying my favorite classes for no apparent reason. But with the sub counts going down the shitter steadily, It's clear they do need to make the game appealing to new players.

My question being where they announced that the Facebook game was removed in the new expansion was answered by the the fact I thought it would never be taken away? You wot.

How did that answer his question? Where have they officially announced class hall missions are gone? They are just changing name, there's been nothing about them removing the whole system.

Pruned in this context is removing 'non-essential' abilities or moving their effects into other abilities and passive buffs.
For example: The mage ability 'Magic armor'
Currently, it is one of three passive effects which is decided by your specialization.
The old version was an actual buff you had to cast.
The passive effect is always beneficial, but removing the option takes away player agency.
You dont have a choice to make, you dont to remember to keep it on, you dont have to worry about it being dispelled, another mage cant steal it to temporarily double dip his own armor, it just exists without you having to think about it.
It's almost negligible in the grand scheme of things, but it's a good example of the problem.

BFA looks cool, but thats how WOW has been for years now, looks cool, but its all marketing, the core game has been shit as it hasn't been a proper persistant open world MMO since vanilla.

WoW in WotLK and WoW from MoP onwards are completely different games, with Cata being some bastardized transitionary period. Modern WoW is better in some aspects, particularly balance, but much worse in others. It's undeniably worse as an RPG and it's more like Diabo, a multiplayer Dungeon Crawler. The overworld is inconsequential now.

Shit only gets worse when they try to force balance, they need more dynamic class balance, where each class has multiple niches to fill, instead they only have 3 niches to fill in the entire game, and because you have 36 mechanically different specs trying to fill those same 3 niches there will always be a BiS one, look at mistweaver monks in PVP being gods, or warrior tanks in pve being absolute trash

Balance in Legion is undeniably better than it was in WotLK. Warriors are currently the worst tanks, but they're comparatively better than they were in 3.3.3 and there's nothing remotely as fucking retarded as 100% ArPen Marks/Feral/Arms in PvP at the moment.

Rogues are amazing in PvE you have no fucking idea what you are talking about. At the 960 item level range they do great DPS and for almost all of Antorus you can just stand in shit and not give a fuck because of CoS, Evasion, and Feint. There are so many mechanics you can just skip as a rogue.
