No, it isn't much, but too much all the same.
>Crono
In one of the endings, you mean?
>PANCAKES
>In one of the endings, you mean?
No, I mean Chrono Cross. Him, Marle and Lucca are killed inbetween CT and CC and their ghosts show up in Cross near the end to guide you.
>Cross
Call me crazy, I consider that a shitty fanfic that doesn't exist.
Gordon
Your headcanon is irrelevant.
Wind Waker Link.
Me
What's your personality?
Gordon in half life 2 is given a lot of personality purely because of alex talking to him.
MMF
Gordon's implied to be rather cantankerous even as far back as HL1 though otherwise Link's a bit of a contender with Hyrule Warriors showing him get cocky because of having the Master Sword, Mario also has something like that going for him since he instructs the two helper characters to talk shit about Bowser loudly and where his minions can hear in Dream Team
This fucker is ok
But really, serph had more
And persona2 silent duo was cool as fuck
And ludger from xillia 2
>Has the little demon icons from other SMT games on his jacket
How did I fail to notice that before?
I enjoyed nocturne too but he didn’t have a lick of personality, but style, definitely
the guy, i forgot his name, in bioshock 1
I like how in God Eater your character never says a word until near the end where they basically repeat the first words of encouragement they heard.
Doomguy in D44M
I have a keychain of those
does that mean freeman wins by default?
pathetic
Moving the camera in fps games like I'm moving an actual head. Nodding or shaking my head in response to npcs, doing double takes, being taken aback when something startling happens, all me.
Hey, that happens in Monster Hunter Stories too, well close to it.
>keeps bullying the little upgrade drones
On second walkthrough you can choose between this one and another jacket
The only correct answer
...
Caim.
Hardcore Henry videogame w h e n
This guy
Also Link
Can't believe it took this long
Crash Bandcoot, but out of the characters in the pic: Mario (keep in mind I haven't played Half Life)
Like has zero personality.
Link talks all the time, you just don't get to see his dialogue, aside from when you get to choose something.

>silent protagonist starts talking in the sequel

I'M GONNA KILL PRAXIS

IMO I liked edgy Jak.
It really did give an idea of how much torture that the Baron had done to him to make him that way.
Not to mention all that dark eco corrupting him, etc.
Mario is mostly silent in the RPGs. If nothing else he only speaks in gibberish and/or when someone else can have the actual textbox. In Mario RPG he communicates via miming.
Until Super Mario 64
They should have kept him for 3 and the later games.
Caim talks at the start of the game though, he just gets muted.
Silent protagonists shouldn't have a distinct personality. If they do then what is the point? You're just limiting them by not allowing them to speak.
A silent protagonist should be an avenue for the player to put their own personality into the game. So in that case, the best silent protagonists are the likes of Serge from Chrono Cross.
...
He has a couple lines in GS TLA I think. And way more in GS DD.
I'M GONNA KILL PRAXIS!
>protag doesn't talk in the first game
>he does in the sequel
>Antagoist talks the entirety of the first game, becomes the protagonist of the second game. Doesn't talk
>Old silent protagonist becomes party member, talks up a storm
so is Square's when they shoehorned Dream Devourer into an ending in the DS port.
>Dead Space 2
