Original rumours out of NeoFAG stating that From have 2 more games with Sony in the can after Bloodborne

>Original rumours out of NeoFAG stating that From have 2 more games with Sony in the can after Bloodborne
>Both Yoshida and Miyazaki stating that Sony and From would be game to work with each other again if "the circumstances are right"
>Soul Sacrifice/Bloodborne producers have been dropping hints about an "ambitious" new project since late 2015, which they're set to reveal in 2018 according to Dengeki PlayStation
>In February 2017, Yoshida tweets a photo of him having lunch with Miyazaki alongside several other Sony and Kadokawa executives
>sudden on-rush of shitty Bloodborne merch in early 2018
>Bloodborne as one of the "free" games for PS+ in March in the month it was released three years ago
>SIE stated they're doubling down on first party titles in the corporate reshuffle

I'm 97% sure Shadows Die Twice is another installment in the Demon's Souls franchise.

I think we all know Bloodborne 2 is in the works.
>on sale almost every sale
>comics and merch coming out years after the games release
>free on ps+
>next game's teaser smells of bloodborne

Both wrong, it's been 100% confirmed to be Frame Gride 2 by top industry insiders.

What if the DS2 team made Bloodborne 2?

If they just have good framerate I'll be fine with it being exclusive, but if it's gonna be the same mess with shit framerate and -pacing, then the older games still have some replays left in them and some more builds to try.

Why doesn't Sony want to remaster Demon's Souls

Why doesn't Sony want to match Bloodborne for PS4 PRO?

>BB2 doesn't have dodgespam and hp bloat
>but it's even more unfinished and broken technically
Idk which I prefer.

They are probably making another game with Sony, but it's not Shadows Die Twice

I dunno about Bloodborne either, it might just be a new IP, i don't think From wants to keep making Souls like & Sony might want a more "cinematic/open world" game since BB performed under expectations

I don't know how I would feel about Bloodborne II desu. I really want another Bloodborne but at the same time I don't. If they made Bloodborne II then it wouldn't have the same feel as the first Bloodborne. Shadows Die Twice is set in some form of Japan and not Victorian London so it would just be taking a big piss on everything that made Bloodborne good. Subscribe to my blog

I hope they don't sacrifice gameplay for it, a more casual-friendly setting and theme is cool but if they water down and make the gameplay more "accessible" I'm not sure it would sell much better and it would surely piss of the fans, which are the ones buying merch and shit.

Bloodborne 2 would end up being exactly like Dark Souls 2 where it completely fails to live up to the first game and just feels like a cheap cash-in.

Its going to be japanborne.
Bloodborne in a eastern country

The biggest problem with a BB2 is a huge part of BB was the surprise lovecraft bullshit, BB2 would have trouble capturing that

>Why doesn't Sony want to remaster Demon's Souls
Because it's in licensing hell with Sony owning the rights in Asia, Bamco in Europe and Atlus in USA. They'd all have to agree on it.
>Why doesn't Sony want to match Bloodborne for PS4 PRO?
Sony doesn't create pro patches, the developers do. Fromsoft/Japan Studio won't do it because they've moved on to other projects.

>If they made Bloodborne II then it wouldn't have the same feel as the first Bloodborne
Agreed. I want more Souls-style games in the vein of Bloodborne, not a direct sequel to Bloodborne. It's Lovecraftian horror, it only works if there are unsolved mysteries and unknowable truths. If a sequel came out it would probably be full of lazy fanservice like DaS3 and retroactively spoil Bloodborne.

Yeah that too. The only way they could top it is to go to insane levels with pretty much the entire world twisting and coming apart.

it not being explicitly touted as being exclusive in the teaser makes me doubt shadows die twice is their next sony game. FROM is too big a name for sony to not put their name on a title they're doing that's exclusive

>If a sequel came out it would probably be full of lazy fanservice like DaS3 and retroactively spoil Bloodborne.

What went wrong with Ds3?

it doesn't have to be a surprise.
we knew it was gonna be in TOH and that didn't detract from the expansion at all

What did you think of Dark Souls 2

>more Souls-style games in the vein of Bloodborne
As long as they don't keep going in the direction they went with DS3, yeah I'd love that. It's amazing how it failed to take any of the great elements from any of their games.

No... if it follows the souls sequel formula then it will be like dark souls. A decent sequel with incredible amounts of rehashing

I do not want a bloodborne 2. From has proven again and again that they can only make decent games when it's a new world, new story.

You will not enjoy bloodborne 2 as much as bloodborne. You should be hoping for a new ip.

Wasn't Dark Souls 2 made because of contractual obligation?

>NeoFAG
Go back there fag.

>bloodborne 2
>set in japan
Don't you fucking do this to me, From.

I don't know why people want a BB sequel when it has been proven numbered souls games suck.

Bloodborne is pretty much perfect and concluded so well. Only a retard would want a sequel.

Holy shit it's been 3 years since Bloodborne released?

>only a retard would want another delicious hamburger

Why would they do this? BB is gothic and lovecraft setting.

look at those fat man tits of yours and consider if that second burger was necessary

Just like dark souls 2 and 3 amirite? Such delicious hamburgers.

Anyone else want them to do something new besides a Souls game?

>food analogy

>Bloodborne 2
>set in the 21st century
>main weapon is guns

>being too dumb to comprehend analogies

>dark souls 2-3 are bad
I hope you never play any sequels because they are all shit by your definition.

They failed to capture many of the things that were good about 1, but let's not pretend 1 is a perfect game either. They definitely improved in some aspects and while I'd consider 1 the best because it's the most natural-feeling with high replayability, the others aren't far behind. by natural I mean there's no "oh people just circle strafe, guess we'll make every enemy magnetic and every boss turn around mid-swing, because it has to be HARD", 2 is a lot of fun to mess around with builds in but feels very game-y, with content too bad to be able to make up for that, and 3 feels even more game-y with its linear structure and shit balance making it a bad game for multiple playthroughs and exploring the game from different angles.

>being so fat that you need to relate everything to food
Fuck outta here

Has Sony enhanced BB for the Pro with better resolution and frame rate?

no you only get faster load times if you have a PS4 with SSD.

>Sony might want a more "cinematic/open world" game since BB performed under expectations
>BB performed under expectations
Theres a reason the PS4 was known as Bloodborne machine for years in every gaming media. Performed under expectations my ass, under what rock have you been living.

Someone post the project beast pic with all the fags refusing to believe its true. I can't find it anywhere.

It'll be a PS5 launch title, OBVIOUSLY.

PS5 not happening til at least 2020 bud.

As long as there's no Blood Memory and they leave it the fuck alone.

This. One per generation.
