I remember back in the day when i got into V1, this one guy helped me and my buddy get over the Nightmare hurdle. Just a rando we met who took the time to talk to us and give us advice. We got our cataclysm banners as a group, which was the best feeling i've ever had in any game.
We're true drengberazi now, and have been enjoying the hell out of the betas thus far.

>Playing Festering Ground
>At the drop off to the canyon with all the scaffolding
>Gas rat cuts off our advance
>Chaos Warrior runs through
>Vortex right after
>Rattling spawns right behind us

Vermintide ain't comfy, and so this thread is dead.

That boss fight in Warcamp was underwhelming as fuck.

>join first game after downloading
>against the grain on recruit
>one guy in lobby shouting down voice chat immediately
>WERE GOING FOR FULL TOMES AND GRIMS OR IM QUITTING
>has a fit after us 3 refuse to pick up the 2nd grim because were dropping and having trouble as it is
>he quits and we have fun mucking around the level at our own pace

Its only a beta and tryhards are trying to ruin my experience on the easiest difficulty.

have you guys been having any trouble running the game at a steady framerate?

>This

I don't really understand the hard-ons people have for going for full grim runs. Tomes I get since it isn't a real big deal if you have shitters involved but randos wanting full grim runs confuse me.

loot is a cruel mistress

What's the big difference between the first and second game? When I watched some gameplay footage I only noticed that there are chaos enemies

>wanting it to be easy

>Doing full grims and tomes on recruit

Recruit is literally just for getting into the game. Even high tier chests have trash rewards compared to veteran

isnt this game fucking casual i mean its melee only how hard can it be

Well friend, it is a sequel so alot of it is the same!

>sequel
>noun: sequel; plural noun: sequels
>a published, broadcast, or recorded work that continues the story or develops the theme of an earlier one.

The more you know!

It's harder because of the new specials. It's still kinda grindy but nowhere nears as much, plus you get access to all weapons by leveling instead of waiting for them to drop. Drops are class specific, so if you're playing Kruber, you don't get drops for the elf or Saltzpyre.

You could have answered the question instead of being a defensive faggot

They really made a good video game adaption, huh?

>Game is called Vermintide
>It's mostly half naked hillbillies

Is this video right about vermantide 2?
youtu.be/QQs9a_0X8P0

Coulda asked in a better way than WOW WHATS THE BIG DIFFERENCE? I WATCHED SOME SHIT AND ONLY NOTICED NEW ENEMIES? LOL

im not watching your long ass video about a dead franchise

Other than the lighting in Vermintide 2 being ass it sounds like he's mad at the game because he's bad at it

well its not wrong

but in todays market people love skills and character progression

>Special enemies spawns still suck
>AI is still retarded
>RNGesus still hates me
Maybe I'll get it when it's on sale

It seems like his problem is that you don't get good at it like l4d. And that the games progression is lootbase not skill.

His main complaint is loot, levels, progression systems, etc, he says nothing about the actual gameplay of these games.

Oh wait, he complains that there's no variety in the games compared to Left 4 Dead because you start a match with a weapon and will end it with the same weapon. Which is absolutely idiotic as the games he's complaining about have literally dozens more weapons than Left 4 Dead does.

Also his footage that he shows is him playing Elf and using nothing but the bow at all times even when surrounded by a horde until he's completely out of ammo and is forced to use melee. This dude has Left 4 Dead etched in his brain so fucking hard he literally can't play like its not Left 4 Dead.

First off, play it and come back about how casual it is, second off every character has a ranged weapon and ranged focused career. Melee only my ass.

How's it supposed to be played?

Well, if you're surrounded, and you have a big sword that can hit multiple targets in a wide sweep, and a bow that can only hit a single point on the screen, which weapon do you use to try and clear out the crowd?

I know it's just the Beta, but have people gotten a feel for how much time/replayability value the sequel has? I loved the first one but it never kept my mates attention

>L4D fanboy complaining that everything is not handed to him
>Saying L4D has more variety when it literally has less
>Can't comprehend why he has to use one loadout during one mission
>Clearly can't play the game he's "criticizing"
>Melancholic music in the background for sympathy points
What even is this mess?

Were the fuck you are all living. Basically everyone I met are either kind people having fun or silent types. This Kruber was the only exception I remember. He got succ'd by this same leech 10 seconds later. And it's not like he was particularly mean, Sienna was just kind of autistic and it was Champion, so he got annoyed.

Well, at least getting all the characters to max level will take more time than most 60€ games, so that's something. Getting all the levels done on Lord difficulty is usually the goal, which will take some time, add to that the new Heroic Deeds.
Much more replayability than Vermintide 1 at the very least. It really depends on how fun you find the core gameplay.

>challenging or garbage
from that alone I assume he needs to git gud

>"fuk it im solo"
>that sunset background with Sienna getting the succ in the distance
This is an inspirational poster.

If it had Kerillian somewhere ahead being guttered, it would be absolutely perfect
