The only stand out one was this arbitrary shit for Luigi, "Complete Stage #1 of Adventure Mode with the time ending in a "2" in the second's slot, then defeat Luigi and Peach in less than a minute and clear the rest of the mode "

As an SRPG it's really shit, every single thing is decided by RNG, and the gameplay hasn't progressed in over 10 years. The story and characters are all barebones as well. FE fans don't play anything else in the genre so they think it's good.

SRPGs are like chess, you can't expect the gameplay to "improve". Most you can change is add some QoL like removing durability, which actually removes strategy.

boi I had to set up nine consoles for a tourney the morning of, and I was able to get it all done in under 4 hours. That's not that bad.

It's very soild because unlike other tactical rpgs its on a horizontal plane so positioning and movement matter a lot more. How is hitting or missing being RNG a complaint or bad? Not everything in life goes as plan, sometime you need to think up of different tactics. RNG level ups are dumb but you can beat every game at 0% so it isn't a problem, especially in later games where you have loads of customization.

I want the next Smash to only have 12 characters unlocked from the start, and all 48 other characters have to be earned. Once you get them all, you get a cheat code that unlocks all of them from the start, so you can easily set up at a friend's house or a tournament. But before that, all the characters have to be earned.
