FFXV can't do things that Oblivion from 2006 could

NPCs on TES Oblivion had to sleep.

NPCs on FFXV never sleep.

How come they couldn't do something this simple.

Cindy is there always awake.

Because they didn’t design the game around having a daily routine for the characters. Shouldn’t this be obvious, user?

It's incredibly annoying to have to use a wait function just so you can go to one shop becasue they aren't fucking open yet

What's the weird microstutter issue with models on PC? They'll like flicker a shit ton sometimes, not sure what setting is causing it

there are NPCs in FFXV?

What was the point of this game even?

How does making NPCs sleep improve the gameplay?

the issue with FF XV was not that they took controversial decisions as part of the game design but rather that every single decision they took was a result of corner cutting necessity. this game is miles behind XII

Saw my cousin play this. The game world is like a theme park stale so fucking boring. Protip a stupid car won't fix you're linear robotic gameworld

in that case why even have a story, why even have names for the characters, why have music at all

I imagine you think this is more than just a few lines of code and somthing really amazing?

Those things improve gameplay. So I'll ask again, how does devoting resources to make NPCs sleep improve gameplay, and is it worth it?

>Cindy is there always awake.
Cocaine is a hell of a drug user

>Final Fantasy would be improved if you had to put the controller down and wait for Cindy to wake up.

Did you play the game with your eyes closed?

>want to go around doing hunts
>i'll just use the car to get closer
>you can only manual drive at night and auto drive leave you at Parking Spots or settlements

its not fun to auto-sprint for 4 minutes to your destination

is there really no other way? cant I really use manual mode on the car unless it's night? I'm really confused

Immersion. Yes it's worth it. Especially when your game is a fucking RPG of all things.

Use the monster truck

that's fucking retarded, if you want NPCs with routines go play Gothic or Todd's incredible games, FF has never had those kind of systems implemented and is still one of the best RPG series in the market

your gpu overheating or busted causing it

>still one of the best RPG series in the market
*coughs*

>the npcs in those games don't have a routine

checkmate

I'm not a FF fan or the guy you're replying to, but trying to counter "FF is one of the best RPG series of games" with "ok but look at these other great RPG games" doesn't really debunk his point. There's not a limit on great games. One game doesn't become shit because another is good.

I finished this game last year. It was a complete bore and a fucking chore to finish. It looked good and some of the monster fights were cool, but yeah just bland for the most part.

Ashe is so damn hot god damn
