Gotta start at the origin of Saitama when he first fights that crab guy. Then you work your way up to One Punch status. Once you can kill everything with one punch it's pretty much the epilogue.

That would be pretty cool, I love the setting of the series. However different A-S rank heroes would have different effects I would imagine. Genos is responsible enough to take blame if he causes a huge problem, though he's emotionless enough to not really care. Some heroes would help and give you a rep boost for what you managed to do, some are malevolent and try to get you to quit.

Could also be a system where some monsters are way harder than the mission said they would be (as the series states that the ranking system isn't really good), so you have to try to survive and call in backup.

Yeah that's a good point, Saitama never tries to steal the kill, only coming in when other heroes are wiped out or not knowing the monster is already fighting something.

I don't think Mumen Rider will ever go anywhere higher. He has turned down going to B class because he knows he can't cut it. Certain heroes exemplify their standings. Mumen Rider represents C class because he's just a normal human who tries his best, nothing more. B rank you get people with actual powers or unnaturally strong (Fubuki). A class is where it starts getting broken power levels that could easily be main characters of their own series (Death Gatling, Stinger, etc.).

S Rank is a dumping ground for "fuck it, last resort" type heroes when even A Ranks go to shit.

I am expecting to see Glasses end up having a ridiculously quick rise to A rank however. That work he did as support against Garou was a little too good.

Thing is he got his powers without monster grinding. He just did an exercise constantly and was suddenly stupid strong. It's not even an unusual exercise, normal humans can do it with some training (which is pointed out in-universe). Mumen probably could get stronger if he did some intense shit, but he's happy where he is, and that's fine. There's always work for the C Rank heroes, just not the kind of stuff that's particularly glorious.
