but we do know that bandana waddle dee is confirmed to be in the game, and is presumably the holder of the spear ability. that said, we can potentially assume that the ability cap of 28 might have been broken, but no other evidence supports this

If you're in touch with the leaker, tell him to stream the game on vk if possible, that's what the Sonic Mania and Mario Odyssey leakers used.
If this person is real, they're likely a reviewer and not some spic that found a store that broke street date so streaming is MUCH riskier for them

The two blank spaces for modes in the first video don't look like they're for the Arena/True arena. Maybe they're accessed through a different menu?

Zero would probably be the Extra mode boss.

That's my current working hypothesis, they've got spear enemies already and bandanna dee doesn't seem like the kind of character they'd imply there were many of.

Who here gonna try beating the game with no helpers? Or at least as few as possible since i'm sure some collectibles will force them on you.
I feel like the game would be too easy if I did use them.
bandana dees presence alone coupled with the fact that review copies have already been sent out confirms that there is a lot yet to be spoiled
besides, we have two weeks before the game drops for real

Bandanna dee is probably an amiibo skin for the spear helper. Different powers had amiibo skins in robobot.

in recent footage staff is confirmed to have elemental effects at both its tips, whereas bandana's only has the effect at one end
additionally a spear head and the scarf at its base can be made out in the flames

When Staff has an element on it, it gets the element on both sides of it. Bandana Dee only has the element on one side of the stick, but also has a spearhead and the end of his stick.
It could still be a skin, but there's no way to tell.

As a native speaker of Spanish, I heard no mention of BanDee. He's just explaining the amino feature. Apparently amino can be used 8 times per level, Kirby gives you a Maxim Tomato and two puzzle pieces while EL REY DEDEDE gives you two puzzle pieces and that one drink I can't remember the name of. Other amiibo just give you one puzzle piece and food.

The Arena/True Arena is too much of a standard feature to throw out, the least i can see them doing is having it somewhere in the menu and if you beat it once it asks you to play one the other.
It'll be interesting to see how the Jambastion generals utilize this, I imagine Francisca has a secret defeat sequence when burning just like Whispy does.
