Are there any good Discord alternatives for gaming? I'm one of the owners of a discord about an online game with about 200 members and it feels like every week like 2-3 people get banned from discord and have to make a new account and we're bleeding people at this point. Are there any good alternatives to migrate to? Basically just need something that's similar to discord (mainly equal emphasis on text/picture based communication as well as voice). Having a mobile app as well is preferred

Your best bet may be riot.im, but I have yet to use it so I can't say much about it. Seems like it would do the job well enough. It still has cross device communication though.

It's a shitty platform whose only advantage is that it's not a resource hog. They also ban for no/little reason. If you get banned and email discord support they won't tell you anything other than "you were banned for a ToS violation". It's a shitty service with unnecessarily heavy handed moderation

They don't tell you why. You can email them and they'll tell you something incredibly vague and won't even tell you what discord you were in. I don't know if this is routine, but everyone from my server that has ever been banned got an incredibly vague response from discord that they disagreed with.
