Why is this reddit's least favourite DLC?

Why is this reddit's least favourite DLC?

You just answered your own question.

Dean Domino is the most anti-Reddit character in any video game.

How do you know what reddit dislikes and likes?

That reminds me, I still need to kill Mr. House so I can beat the main game and start the DLC

mothership zeta will always be the worst, dead money tried some stuff but none of it really worked

I absolutely loved Dead Money.
My only gripe is that the other DLC I played (Honest Hearts) absolutely did NOT live up to it and made me quit the game.
are Lonesome Road and Old World Blues better? because I don't think I can finish Honest Hearts

A better question is why you know what Reddit s opinion on the game is?

OWB is good, Lonesome road blows ass only play it if you want a rep bonus with one of three factions.

The biggest crime of all the DLC is that it's levelscaling shit so if you go into it in normal order you'll probably be level 45 by lonesome road and as a result will get absolutely BUTTRAPED by the marked men, deathclaws, assloads of rads, and tunnelers.

Both of those are as long as Dead Money, though OWB is more structured like Dead Money while Lonesome is mostly a straight line. It's got some interesting stuff to it though, and arguing with the mentally ill Ulysses is always fun

He comes here on a daily basis

>all the other dlcs were fun rides with cool weapons and decent writing
>dm was forced stealth section with lame weapons besides the revolver and muh lesson

I can't believe some people think killing him is the BAD end to his character.

>the fucking BAR
>Lame
I wish I could spit in your face through the screen.

>Oh no, a dlc that forces you to focus more on survival than just being a wacky shooter
Found the ledditor

>guns are loud and cool! they go bang and make explosions!

Of course a brainlet who is interested in guns thinks the best DLC is too difficult.

The holorifle is fucking rad you dipshit

It's only good if you invest in the melee or unarmed skill and they hate that.

Because, uh, like, you have to stop, and pay attention to your environment. Why can't I just run and gun? Fuck, my collar is beeping again. Oh, I shot that enemy time to immediately forget about him with my goldfish memory WTF HE CAME BACK i don't want to waste ammo on him even though all i have to do is use the companion specifically tailored to eating their corpses or even just punch their bodies until a limb combs off at zero cost to ammo or weapon durability!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wouldn't play a whole game of it but I honestly liked dead money more than the rest of the actual game or anything in 3.

Not sure, it looks like a god damn masterpiece next to Lonesome Road

Not even that, you can get a perk from Dog if you chat with him that makes crippling Ghost People a nonissue
Gee it's almost like people don't talk to their interesting, creative, unique and well-written companions, instead just rushing through following the quest marker like a bloody fucking retard

Guns are the most important thing in a first person shooter.

>Game pulls the "Lose all your stuff, have to use only what you find inside" trick, meaning you can use your Dinner Bell to one-shot everything
>Lots of traps and stuff that can kill you
>Atmospheric changes, emphasis on not being seen instead of being ultimate god of kill all things
>Characters that have motivations/stories beyond "I HAVE SLAVES SO MUST BE BAD, I AM BIG GOVERNMENT SO MUST BE BAD, and I AM A ROBOT WHO WANTS TO BE DICTATOR SO MUST BE BAD"
>You can't (okay you can, but it's pretty difficult to do it legit) just take all the money out of the vault and be incredibly rich, and will be sealed in the vault forever if you try to be greedy

New Vegas is an RPG first and an FPS third.

Fuck that DLC

>Elijah keeps going on about "muh treasure"
>proceeds to give me the true treasure of Dead Money for free, the Holorifle
>lock him in with his dumb gold while I bring my Holowaifu back to the Mojave

Is it really? I find that hard to believe, it's such a great DLC and definitely by far the best NV DLC.

Dead Money is the Sup Forums equivalent to Master and Commander
A DLC only men can understand and not Stacey's or soyboys
It even says right on the fucking artwork its number 1.

Because Reddit played it on console, and got upset when they couldn't stealth well enough to steal all the gold bars and couldn't console command themselves infinite caps/noclip.

>replaying new vegas
>10 luck

This has been the most entertaining and enjoyable playthrough I'll ever do.

>local mailman can't stop winning, banned from all casinos in Vegas in a single day

Lonesome Road has Riot Gear armour (one of the best armours in the games) and tons of interesting weapons that aren't OP, but really good.

*in the game
sorry for mistake

>mfw actually like Honest Hearts

I never found any issues with it. It's really short and can be beaten in an afternoon, Zion National Park was fun to go through, and then there was Joshua "do I have to shoot a motherfucker in the name of the Lord" Graham.

OWB is what I had problems with. Too much of it was tedious and repetitive.

>mfw
>doesn't post face

>not shooting your way through Dead Money as loudly as possible

Best DLC is Lonesome Road. Reddit the DLC is Old World Blues. Worst DLC is Honest Hearts. Dead Money is okay.

>a bitter crazed old man enslaves you with an explosive collar and forces you to enact a heist in a run-down casino populated by the zombified murderous denizens and he also forces you to cooperate with people you don't trust among whom are a schizophrenic who can rip your arms off, a suspicious mute, a 200 year old lounge singer who is trying to enact his own heist 100 years in the making and it all ends by you realizing the vault's contents are pointless to lust after because they turn you just as crazy as everybody you've met and heard about in this wacky fuckshow

This is a far cry from "bad tribe hurt good tribe, stop them"

>go through DM with unarmed character
>mfw 1-hit ghost people with vats on limbs bear trap fist

Is that from NVB? The someguy series is honestly pretty good, even Russel, which I assumed would just be a mary sue

stop using your pip-boy

DM>OWB>LR>>>>>>>>>>>>>>(WARNING! 15 MINUTE LONG DLC INCOMING!)HH

me too. I was raised mormon, so hearing the logical conclusion of the religion (crazy nutjobs that nonetheless survived the nukes because they legit irl have the food storage and doomsday prep to do it, religiously manipulating uneducated minorities) was cool.

Also, the pistol was dope.

Someone needs to create an search engine that queries your search through a reddit comments database and looks for the most downvoted comment on your search subject and forwards it to you, would instantly become the best search engine for finding "truth" on any subject

It's not very fun to play, I was actually stoked going into it when I heard the premise of the heist , but the execution was abysmal, on top of constant frame drops and glitches. I usually try to the get the "best" ending on my first playthroughs before branching out, but I was so fucking tired of it that I just did whatever what get me out of that shithole asap.

Is this the one where you strip down naked and boof 200 lbs of gold through the 1-way exit? The bank heist was honestly the only storyline I even remember from this entire game.

>Dan the Dildo tries to threaten me when I mention just taking the map out of here from his pet niggers
>mow him down like the dog he is

I have never completed that DLC. Joshua Graham claims he'll beat my ass if I harm the natives (he doesn't, he vanishes) and Dan is too big of a homo to realize when you should just let the guy with a minigun fucking leave.

It's okay. You won't be banned for your mistake.

This time.

>Too much of it was tedious and repetitive.
This is my main problem with all the dlc's apart from HH, which coindicentally, is the only one I actually enjoyed playing.

All the dlc's except for HH follow the same formula: nothing but hostiles and dangerous areas with little to no safe havens where you can just relax, chat to various npc's, explore cool locations and do non-violent quests. That's completely different from any Fallout game and it sucks. DM has cool characters and writing but gameplaywise it's a bowl full of tedious fucking shit with the radios, ghosts, gas and traps. I don't feel "oh, yeah, another batch of ghosts, let's fuck them up dog" but instead "not again, this is fucking tedious". OWB is exactly the same except it has terrible writing and I almost quit the game when the DLC starts with roughly 45 minutes or terrible jokes. I don't want to explore anything when it's nothing but hostility. LR doesn't even have a story and it's nothing but fighting and shooting. Utter shit.

Reminder

thank you based sargon rationalization man
you have truley saved western civilisation

>tfw still waiting for New California

Why do you care about reddit?

>House is "afraid to make their own choices"
>not Yes Man, who is literally "avoid making choices: the route"

completely unbiased, I see

>not Yes Man, who is literally "avoid making choices: the route"
How come? Yes man gives you the choice how to deal with either faction whereas House tells you how to deal with them.
