You know, I think I finally understand the backstory and why the Feds aren't going Waco on this cult. See the video mentions a "Collapse" right? So only sense is the backstory is the game takes place in a Dire America, where it's on the edge of either financial/social collapse, and the US Government is too busy dealing with it to bother with some random cult indawoods, hence they send you, since while major cities and counties go to shit, places like Wyoming aren't feeling the brunt of it since it's a backwater state anyway with not alot to it.

Least it's the most sense I can make to why there aren't any Abrams and Choppers assulting the Cult compound in the first 10 minutes of the game.
