No because ps4+pc gets 99% of all relevant releases

No, I actually beg developers to make LESS games on my console.

Only because there really hasn't been a decent proper car racing game on a Nintendo home console since V8 Supercars/TOCA Race Driver 1 on the Gamecube.

No, Need for Speed doesn't count.

>buying nintendo consoles at launch

No, I don't own only one console

This.

>Do you port beg?
I don't, but I should.

See this logic is stupid.
People buy many consoles BECAUSE games aren't made for all of them.
If games were were all available for one platform, would you still buy 3-4 different consoles? Of course not.

it's not realistic to expect every game to come to one console

No, but if all games were available on all platforms, I wouldn't have bought a fucking Switch.

Kind of
Labyrinth of Refrain was originally a Vita game but NISA isn't bringing it over to the west on the Vita. Only switch and ps4.
They are localizing the ports but not the original. The one that needs the least amount of work they aren't bringing over.

Expect? No. hope and ask? Why the fuck not.

Exactly my point.

>If games were were all available for one platform, would you still buy 3-4 different consoles?
Ask people who own both PS4 and Xbone.

I port beg in some cases.

Lost Odyssey to PC please
Tales of Vesperia PS4/PC please
Atlus post some fucking games on PC please, I'd buy every SMT I own all over again
I really really want to play Dragon's Crown on PC since PS3/Vita online is dead and I'm not paying for PS+ to play the PS4 version with no new content

>People want monopolies
Do you people not realize why this is bad

You don't really have a point, though. If games were available for all platforms, obviously there would be no port begging or a need for multiple systems. But that's not the world we live in, and it's never going to be. In this world, if you want Nintendo games, you need to buy a Nintendo system. If you want the big AAA releases, you need a PC, or Microsoft or Sony console. That's been the case since 6th gen, and it's not going to change.

Oh, yeah, monopolies. Like that monopoly on PCs, right? Or that monopoly on DVD players that like a thousand different companies share?

Imagine an alternate reality where all games were made for Linux.
...God, where did things go wrong?

The game in the OP is neither of those, there's no reason why it can't be multiplat. The original was on the 360 for fuck's sake.

Morrowind remade in the current iteration of Gamebryo.

You hhave two wishes left on your monkey's paw.

There's no reason why SMT V can't be multiplat, but it isn't. That's just the way things go.

Only for Smash because I dodged the WiiU

>bethesda game on a console
This is dumb. You're dumb.

This guy gets it. Post life cycle Nintendo consoles are such a sweet buy, especially seeing as Nintendo is full of incompetent devs so every single one of their consoles is easily hackable.

Ideally, everything should be on PC, but port begging is pointless because it's a better use of time and resources to make new shit instead of porting.

If the time you spent begging for ports was instead spent on working, you'd have enough money to buy all those pesky exclusives. It's a futile exercise for any adult.

>buying any console at launch

The last two systems that had an even remotely decent launch lineup were the PS2 and GBA.

...

I don't want more ports to the switch, I want some fucking original games.
This thing should've been less powerful so handheld devs could keep making their low fidelity budget titles that are made for handhelds and often turn out to be gems.

Same people who make fun of mustards who request ports are the same ones flooding social media with "this would be great on my wife's son's Switch".
All of you hypocrite fucks can drop fucking dead tbqh.

twitter.com/blizzard_ent/status/968727468675809280?s=21

Is port begging justified if you own the original console and game but want it on other platforms?

>GBA
Retard.

Of course not, it's even worse
>I already own this game but I want to pay for it again
>please oh corporate overlords let me give you more of my money

What about cases like Dragon's Crown here
or other co-op/multiplayer oriented games?

Yes

...Do people REALLY buy Nintendo consoles as their sole, main gaming console? I own a Switch, but it's my side console. My PS4 is my main, serious console.

You should know this is how it works by now.

People do, but that's because they're too young to know any better. Nintendo has been a supplementary platform since 6th gen.

I do. It's the only console I have. I also have a pc so...

>Main
>Console

All consoles are supplementary to a high end PC, unless you're poor or a casual.

I just want Borderlands 2 to come to switch.
The PS Vita version of the game is horrendous, but I still think the game has value on a portable.

no wonder you're an unlikeable bore with shit taste in games

Do you beg for my cum? Shut up you little pussy boy.

Unless you don't have one.

>It's the only console I have. I also have a pc so...
guess you're not playing catherine then lol

>My PS4 is my main, serious console.

Switch owners are the new vita owners.
Constant unending nagging for ports so you can play on the go.

No but I wouldn't mind Bayonetta 2 and Xenoblade on PC

No, im an idort so I dont care what releases on which platform

>Port begging
>Not just owning the platforms that the games come out for
Port begging is for faggots

Better than no games on the ps4 for 2 fucking years

>Buying any console on launch EVER
This has always been my rule. 2 years into a consoles launch to see if it's worth it or if the games have piled up.

Nope, I'm getting SMTV.

Hence poor casual.

It's just how it is and it's fine.

But I like Nintendo and Sony games? Are you saying Mario and Zelda are bad, Nintendo drone?

A broken clock can still be right twice a day. Sony exclusives suck ass outside of Studio Japan and 3rd parties.

And I agree with you though? Sony's first party exclusives are meh to me outside of SJ.

I don't. If I cared so much about playing games like Bloodborne despite being a PC gamer, I'd buy a fucking PS4, not whine and moan like some baby that they refuse to port it. I don't even like soulslikes.

People like to play games on their Switch. They would like every game ever to come out again on the Switch because it's their preferred method of playing games. The last 5-10 years have seen a massive fucking increase in remasters, rereleases and ports, there has never been a better time for portbegging because publishers see that it works, even for games that are a generation or more old. It's easy money for them and people will gobble it up.

Think of your all-time favorite game and consider if there is a way that you'd like to access and play that game, that has not been realized. There you fucking go.

Catherine is very likely. Let people have their fun.

Good for you user. I would buy a PS4 as a main if it would have good exclusives apart from Bloodborne. If I would want to play third parties as a main entertainment, I would buy a xbox.

I want more SEGA ports for all platforms.

>want to play some xbox HUEG exclusives
>don't want to buy a cockroach filled second hand console with a ticking bomb on it
>don't want to spend 500 jewmagnets on new microsoft console

In all fairness, if you like Japanese games, it has a lot of third party games that are worth it.

I have trouble finishing all the games I already have on Switch, more ports would only make it harder.
That's what I get for having other hobbies that vidya.

Not really a port, but if it can be done, an Elite Beat Agents Sequel needs to happen.
