ppppppppppppffffffffffffffffffffahhahahahahahhaaa
Didn't they make Battlefleet Gothic Armada though? Maybe all isn't lost
>multiplat
I bet its gonna be generic a TPS with one or two gimmicks.
didnt they also do the styx games?
those were great. they had a tiny budged but came out amazing.
A few years ago I would have loved a Necromunda hero shooter.
Now, not so much... It will bomb, hard, even if it's good. It would work better as a battle royale game, 100 players in a necromunda city hive. Best solution to avoid being the next Lawbreakers.
nvm im retarded. styx was devloped by cyanide and published by focus home interactive
>tfw still need to finish painting my orlock gang
hey guys remember w40k martyr? or death wing? Im sad now.
>Necromunda: Underhive Wars is the first video game adaptation of the Games Workshop tabletop game, with a unique setting and perspective on the Warhammer 40,000 universe, which saw a new version launch to critical success late 2017. Created by Rogue Factor, developers of Mordheim: City of the Damned, Necromunda: Underhive Wars blends fast-paced tactical combat with RPG elements and deep unit customization, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Step into the twisted tunnels and rusted corridors of the Underhive in a new teaser trailer, seeing life from the view of a hardened Escher gang member.
>The turn-based tactical gameplay pits you against rival gangs in brutal gunfights, taking place in huge, vertical environments. Necromunda is a planet covered in poisonous ash wastes, forcing its population to live in Hive Cities, massive man-made structures built up over thousands of years to serve just one purpose: provide to the Imperium. In Hive Primus, the rich and noble live above the clouds in the Spire while the poorest and worst-off live in a massive and forgotten subterranean metropolis, the Underhive, where criminals fight in a perpetual gang war for control.
>tfw unironically enjoy death wing
I just play with a couple friends but having an apothecary is a must or else everyone gets shit on.
the virgin 40k vs the Chad Fantasy
I dropped it about halfway through the campaign playing by myself around launch but I might go back to it once they release the 'enhanced' update
why haven't they glassed necromunda by now?
Probably because they make billions of lasguns and bolters for the rest of the Imperium. That and the Imperial Fists recruit from the gangs
Fucking finally. Mordheim is the best sword&sorcery turn based tactics game ever made and I expect this to be even better.
no genestealers no buy
>fast-paced tactical combat
> turn-based tactical gameplay
Which is it? Going to be shit 100%.
I bought it recently but i always get arse raped by 3 brood lords at ONCE. How the fuck are you supposed to kill them when playing with the AI and the retarded way of healing your guys.
Enhanced edition is STILL not out. Fuck this game
It's going to be literally Mordheim with (more) guns.
>no switch version
...
>WH
>on Shitch
Good
this looks like a shitty hero shooter, it better not be a shitty hero shooter
Are these the guys that made Mordheim? I still don't get it why you make a game about hive gangs fighting it out when you can make something along the line of Chaos Gate, copying the nu-XCOM formula, add real ballistic and have a great TBS that will probably be very popular. Space marines vs CSM is enough for a good start.
No wonder Imperial Shits are one of the worst chapters in the Imperium
It's going to be a turn based tactics game similar to their previous game. That was just a cinematic trailer.
Because they adapt the tabletop.
oh, I fucking love these. Is Mordheim any good?
We already have enough 40k games with Space Marines in them, including one literally called Space Marine.
It's fine if you like to grind a lot.
Name me one that is a good TBS with the factions fighting each other except Space Wolf, which is mobile tier shit, and the various Space Hulk games which are, well, Space Hulk games. There is Chaos Gate that is a gorillion years old. Basically, don't you faggots want Jagged Alliance 40k?
Does GW just give a license to anyone who asks for one?
When it comes to gameplay mechanics it's pretty much the best TBT game ever made, however, the game suffers from a shitty UI and control scheme. If you care more about actual tactical depth instead of quality of life then it's definitely good. Personally, I've enjoyed it tremendously.
its not grinding if the gameplay is fun.
>he game suffers from a shitty UI and control scheme
casual filters imo
Do people play multiplayer on it at all?
>all these fucking numbers/percentages
i get it its WH/strategy and shit but damn. It's like playing an Excel spreadsheet
Multiplayer seems dead. There was some sort of league but I think it died. Only thing I don't like about the game are Skaven, should be weaker with more party members to accommodate imo. But yea, might be problematic since they could collect all the loot on the map easier and faster.
>Name me one that is a good TBS with the factions fighting each other
All I said was we've had enough Space Marine games, nothing to do with the genres or whether or not they're good. Not every 40k game needs to be Space Marines
I hate you so much
Fuck off, theres more to 40k than spess muhreens. I was never keen on space marines to begin with but you fucking fanboys trying to make every single 40k game be about them drives me insane. Thanks for butchering fantasy too btw, its SOOO much better now that its got 'notspacemarines' in it
yeah
They don't give a fuck. They give out the license because it makes the tabletop more popular. Indie and small studies pick the licenses because it gives their games more exposure in the sense that WH fags will look at their game no matter what.
The only thing Games Workshop would never allow is something to rival the actual tabletop game and tank sales of the figurines.
Stop rattling your cage. I don't care about SM that much I only said SM and CSM because I envision them working best in XCOM style game. Maybe Guardsmen against Chaos as well, who knows. I just want Jagged Alliance 40k.
>It's like playing an Excel spreadsheet
Not really. The numbers matter, of course, but the gameplay in Mordheim takes place in extremely cramped environments full of traps, which means that proper tactical positioning can allow the player to overcome both numerical and stat disadvantage.
>Do people play multiplayer on it at all?
They do, but mostly in player made leagues. You will have a hard time finding any random skirmish matches. The thing about this game is that it's ironman mode only and this extends to multiplayer. That is, your warband is shared throughout both singleplayer and multiplayer games and any wounds or casualties you suffer in SP or MP are permanent. If you get wiped in MP with half of your warband dead you can't just load a save game, you have to recruit new replacement soldiers with in-game currency, buy them gear and train them (though not from rank 0, since you can buy veteran troops).
Martyr is in a pretty decent shape now, though.
wew lad
You care enough to come into a thread about Necromunda which has nothing to do with Space Marines to say "why would you make a game about this just make it Space Marines bro"
>The thing about this game is that it's ironman mode only and this extends to multiplayer
Oh man that's real fucking cool
I think you mean dead Fantasy
AoS is unironically a better, more exciting setting
and you're an unironically demented, lobotomised dimwit.
Honestly, I think it would be better if it featured SM or any big factions since it would surely be more popular with people that aren't total 40k fags than Necromunda. I'll play this anyway, just sayin'
Shit tier trailer that tells you nothing.
>Straight to ad hominems
Typical Old World fan.
no
The only thing i want from this is persistent rival AI gangs. I hate that mordheim had to fighting random 1-to-1 copies of your warbands formation. You down an AI and then next turn he just poofs out of existence. Playing the old tabletop necromunda was great because you know who downed your guys, who wounded them. You could even end up with you or your enemy having hatred or fear of specific gang members which really made things feel more alive.
JUST FUCKING BUY IT
>still no Steam page
Fucking hacks.
pls
>2 gangs in base game, 12 other via dlc
cant wait
>aos
>exciting setting
it's hard not to call you a brainlet user.
sessions in aos can be fun for sur, but setting is 50 shades of generic shit, especially after fb
Are the Redeemers going to be in it?
