Realistically, when are we gonna see one?
Realistically, when are we gonna see one?
Mid March. Anything later and I'd start to worry.
LABO was the Direct, see you at E3!
MAR10
tomorrow
This. There's nothing new to announce. The Nintendo drought will last for at least half a year.
5 hours
I unironically think during e3
I feel like Nintendo really spoil their fan with special broadcast like the Direct, atleast Sonybros have PSX but that have turn out to be a shit show while Xbros have to wait till e3 for any semblance of game announcement.
E3 was LABO, see you at the Direct !
...
But it's not being spoiled, I'm fucking sick of seeing this dipshit mentality
Nintendo platforms simply depend far more on first party output than others do, hence why it's important to get more updates on that front for Nintendo
There has to be at least 1 Direct before E3. I'm thinking a general Direct this month and an indie focused one in April.
March 15th Direct
screencap this
They'll practically need one before the investors' briefing in April
No they won't stupid, the investors will be monumentally pleased with LABO
Their investors are massive dipshits, remember; they're the same type who wanted the Switch shitcanned immediately so that Nintendo could focus on mobile development instead
If they applaud Labo, that's almost a sure sign that Labo will either sell like shit or completely 180 and destroy the Switch as a platform
Tomorrow
Inside Xbox is happening March 10 to promote Sea of Thieves.
Microsoft Directs for 2018: 1
Nintendo full Directs in the past five months (nearly six): 0
This month or April just like every year.
...
>investors are massive dipshits
Nintendo focussing on mobile development would bring them the most profit, they want what's bringing themselves the biggest profits.
The only mobile game that was doing well at that time was Pokemon GO, which Nintendo didn't fully own (even less so than regular Pokemon stuff)
Super Mario Run, which came out after that investors' meeting, was a massive disappointment for a while due to its timed Apple exclusivity and its bullshit price tag
This is getting sad. I was thinking the same thing when I saw that Xbox announcement.
>No big January/February direct like prior years
>Mini direct and a cardboard announcement
I wouldn't rule out a proper direct within 30 days but if we miss that window it seems pretty likely they arr holding their cards until E3
I purchased $50k worth of NTDOY shares right before Pokemon Go came out. Held until the shares plummeted back down a few weeks later. Held until when Switch blew up and the stock price reached $50. Continuing to hold until the price matches Disney. I'm bitter that I didn't have more capital to invest back in 2016 when everyone told me I was retarded.
>Marcus Sellars
OK so Direct definitely not happening this week
Why would you be a massive faggot and "predict" something with a specific date if you want to be seen as a credible source? Or does he simply not give a shit, given his shit record?
literally who
Basically Emily Rogers with an even shakier track record
Even if the Labo advertisement was officially called a direct, we'd still most likely get another one before E3.
