Currently he's working on the Wadanohara manga where he's releasing it a chapter a month. They're at the "Dead Sea" arc. And they got through Old. But we saw nothing on Sheep, Squid, Stella or Tsuribari. Instead we have Sal trying to convince Fukami to betray Wadanohara.

If the other Dead Sea members are cut from this manga, then we're mere chapters away from ending. Hell, they cut out Vendetto, Ver Million and Laurentia from the series so I could see it happening.

Anyway, long story short, once Wadanohara ends and money stops being printed, there's three major games in the works:

Mogeko Castle Gaiden
Carnival Rhythm
The Gray Garden HD Remake

All I know is that the normal ending was the real ending. Or maybe not, who knows.

All the castle stuff probably did happen, not like there's some sort of magical trial going on. Even if it is somewhat symbolic, it just goes two ways: either Yonaka has a mental breakdown and is orphaned and heavily medicated, or (the canon ending apparently) she becomes like her brother and takes over the castle as a batshit, evil girl.

But not everyone lives in the same world. In fact, each world has its own God and its own Devil.

Mogeko Castle has Earth and the Mogeko world.

The Gray Garden has the Gray Garden and the Sun Kingdom/The Flame World.

And Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea has its own world...which might be the Pitch Black world. It also takes place in the same world as Ice Scream and possibly Poison Bugs.

Obsolete Dreams takes place in the Pitch Black World.

And hell...Carnival Rhythm has a person from Earth going into yet ANOTHER world.


It was slated for a 2016 release. Now its release date is undetermined.

The game itself is really braindead and easy. People only play DSP games for the story.

The game itself is just standard rpg maker combat with some cute animations.
The pacing is alright but does have a lot of padding to make it longer, but the story and characters are great.

Out of curiosity I wonder if anyone else here has even played the Towelket series. It's only in Japanese so I figure not, but I'd still like to bring it up since I figure the kind of people who'd like DSP's games would also like Towelket since the both of them are mostly story driven with the gameplay there as an afterthought. Also the ability to not lose their shit like tumbler did when rape and other bad shit happens to the characters too. I finished most of the game and want to give it at least some exposure in vain hopes that it'll get translated. Not so much for me since moon isn't a problem, but so that the series won't be totally unknown in the west.
