Pretty cool that they're departing from addons for DLC and moving into full reskins of the entire game. It's like if Primal was released as a DLC for FC4. I'm not getting my hopes up but this is way more interesting than DLC that's normally announced so far.

Honestly, this definitely piques my interest. DLC has always been supplementary or additional gadgets or playable areas in previous games. These DLCs are full conversions.

I'm going to reserve judgement until it actually comes out and we see substantial gameplay, but that's what the FarCry games have always been about; Jungle environment combat freeroam games, or at least sandbox in the way you complete the objectives. Vietnam could open so many more awesome gameplay oppertunities

I haven't had a lot of hope for Ubisoft either user, but there is a lot of potential with a setting like this. The fact that it's going to be DLC instead of a full price game is nice too. Ubisoft could easily take all 3 of these concepts and push them into 3 separate side launch titles. Not hopeful yet, but it's cool to see a deviation from the norm.

No it's blurry because consoles can barely run modern games. Motion Blur was used to hide frame rate issues.

Halo was good when I was a child but now it's just sad, I'll remember the good times I had in halo 3 though. Like when I discovered that shooting a friendly soldier caused every single friendly on the map to mark you as an enemy and hunt you down.

In a way I am worried the new strategy will be a meh/shitty game with really great DLC, in order to double whammy you.

I bought blood dragon because it was 15 bucks and I didn't wanna touch FC3. I'd maybe get one of these or the vietnam one if it was a 15-20 buck standalone, but not if I have to get FC5.

I agree. If they're standalone like Blood Dragon that would be golden, but I doubt that's gonna be the case.
