I like the game, but didnt have any emotional reaction to when I finally found Ciri.
Maybe because I spend too much time killing monsters and slapping peasants for money.

Are any builds in this game viable other than full combat? I've tried sign and alchemy but it always seem worthless when I can just dodge light attack everything x3 faster.
It's honestly a good game and I'm convinced those who say it has shit combat played it on easy. It's fun as fuck on death march.

It's easy on death march aside from how brutal the tutorial area is because you still don't know what build to pick yet and don't have the gameplay mechanics figured out yet. I would say is hard all the way through that quest with Keira against the Wild Hunt, but after that it's fairly easy.

It's not, the simple fact when you press the attack button it triggers a random attack animation with a different range and windup duration make it one of the least satisfying game I've ever played combat wise.
I could go more into details but it's pretty boring. Basically combat is shit because it needs plenty of necessary tweaks based around animations, responsiveness and consistency.
