Anyone with two brain cells to rub together can recognize that Fortnite is superior to PUBG on a technical level: graphics, gameplay, style and optimization all blow PUBG out of the water, which is not hard to wonder why when you consider Epic Games owns the Unreal 4 engine that PUBG runs on.

Most of the stuff in PUBG is premade assets, such as the houses. Not to mention it runs godawful on Xbox One, and for most PCs, meanwhile Fortnite accomplishes 60FPS on the PS4 with a large map and 100 players with building capabilities.

I have both and I prefer Fortnite. PUBG's midgame is all kind of fucked and I like building, it adds to the monotony of the Battle Royale genre.

I'd like Fortnite to have a mode that removes the Battle Royale aspect and just lets 100 players go ham on the map for as long as they want.

Building is an easy mechanic that takes minutes to understand and is really easy to counter you brainlet

What is killing pubg is they happily let Chinese players from internet cafe's hack and cheat on NA servers.

The most popular achievement for the game on Xbox One (crafting your first weapon) only has a completion rate of 9.18%, and only an 8.77% rate of beating the first mission. If I'm too believe this is the case for the other platforms, that's a shame, because save the world is a much better game than Battle Royale. We have two different sub-genres of games here, wave-based tower defense and battle royale. While Metal Gear Survival looks a little similar to this, people aren't liking it and we could have gotten a popularity revival like the sub-genre had in the early 2010s with Sanctum, Orcs Must Die, Dungeon Defender, etc. And for that, I'm not happy that the game is only known for Battle Royale

I guess it's not that big of a problem since 9% of 30 million or whatever amount of player base it has is still a good amount, but it'd be nice if more people played that mode and talked about it more. Fortnite might be inferior to PUBG ( I don't think it is ) but it's more entertaining to watch to the avarage viewer because of all the action and speed. So regardless of it's quality it's not a suprise that it has more viewers.

Fortnite is infinitely more fun than PUBG. You could go a whole match without ever seeing another person before being sniped in the tiny circle. Fortnite (especially the 50v50 mode) is more fun with the teams and building if the gunplay is a bit shitty and the weapons choices are severely limited.
