Halo: Collateral Damage

A comic book mini-series that takes place sometime during the Human-Covenant War. Master Chief seems to be fighting alongside Blue Team, could this mean that Blue Team will be in Halo 6. Let's just hope it's like Arbiter in Halo 3 where they will help out in some missions but this doesn't end up like Halo 5 with forced squad combat. That means in co-op have other players play Fred Linda and Kelly like Halo 3 with the Arbiter and two random Elites. This is supposed to be Master Chief's story. This could also mean that Locke and Osiris are completely being dropped, nice. If this isn't confirmation enough that Halo 6 will be at E3 this year I don't know what is. The armor design is...interesting. This is video game related, don't send me to Sup Forums.

Nobody interested in talking about Halo?

Haven't played Halo in about a year. Lore is great and I try to keep up with that. Are there any new things that have happened regarding Halo?

is the artist from Escalation?

Mainly just that Installation 09 was captured by Cortana's Guardian and the Flood were released on the Ark. The Halo ring will definitely play a part in Halo 6, the Flood may appear but I don't know. This all happened in Halo Wars 2.

...

From Rise of Atroix

Quiet you, Halo 6 was mentioned.

Yea I saw that in some lets plays. When was it confirmed that it was Installation 09?

In a data drop, the Installation that Chief destroyed at the end of Halo 3 was Installation 08.

>but this doesn't end up like Halo 5 with forced squad combat.

Did people have a problem with that feature?

I thought it was fine. It didn't really add too much due to the execution being meh, but it was a neat idea. I'd rather they try to build on it then just remove it.

The allies were kind of, stupid and let you die. Also, I miss fighting beside marines.

Not 04B? I thought that was the back up

or do you mean from Halo 4?

No Halo 3, It has two names, Installation 04B and Installation 08. The one in Halo Wars 2 was Installation 04C or its other name Installation 09.

I havent played halo 5 or read any of 343's books, but weren't bkue team canonically dead as shit? Especially linda?

Yeah, but will we have some great moments like in Escalation?

No, Linda was clinically dead but Chief put her in cryo just in time. Halsey operated on Linda and brought her back. From there Blue Team were doing missions different from Master Chief until after Halo 4 when Chief and Blue Team joined each other again for Halo 5.

Well, the story is the usual the Covenant find something "ancient".

Fred and Kelly survived Reach with Halsey and a few Spartan-III's by hiding in an old Forerunner installation while the planet got glassed.

Oh I see. So they just changed the names to be consecutive.

Yeah, originally 343 named them Installation 04B (In Halo Encyclopedia) and C but they just simplified it to Installations 08 and 09.

I understand that the lead writer for the Halo 5 Brian Reed stepped down. I enjoyed Halo 5's story up until Genesis and Cortana's apparent revival. Who is writing the story for Halo 6 and how are they going to fix the clusterfuck?

Paul Crocker, the same guy that wrote Batman Arkham Asylum and Arkham City. I wonder how he's going to fix Brian's mess, it's going to take a lot of work.

Sounds like he is capable of putting together a good story and since it doesn't seem like Halo 6 will release this year he'll have time to fix it

Yeah, I can't wait, I'm glad Microsoft and 343 saw that Halo 5's campaign really needed to be fixed.

>Also, I miss fighting beside marines.

So fuse it with the system halo reach had for marine allies: Have like 4-5 fireteam slots that a marine or other AI allies you can have join them, and then you can give orders to that fireteam.

I rather have it like Halo 3 where Blue is controlled by the CPU but without the squad mechanics from Halo 5, in other words, they act like Arbiter did in Halo 3 while you fight alongside Marines like you did in Halo 1-4. Also, Blue Team would be playable through co-op.

Either the artists own style or they are having a similar art style with Halo Wars 2

They realized that Halo4 and 5 looked like steamy, edgy turds.

They're using Halo Wars 2 art style for the series future because people hated Halo 4 and 5 art and because Kenneth Scott finally fucked off.
