So how do copy abilities get made?
A common misconception is that Kirby gets the power of the thing he eats.
In reality he just gets the closest copy ability related to thing he ate.
If Kirby ate Spider-Man, he wouldn't have Peter's powers like the Spider-Sense, he'd just get the Spider ability since that is the closest thing to what he inhaled like how inhaling Bonkers doesn't give him exploding coconuts.
In regards to the Spider ability, was it made because Kirby's biologically developing new copy abilities waiting to be discovered or is it because Como became actually strong enough for Kirby to recognize his powers as copy ability worthy?
