Nah, the size isn't an issue. It's just that everything about the pro controller is so much better that it makes the joycons feel cheap by comparison.

You can basically finish the game with only a touchscreen. On any difficulty. Not with the highest score, I think - found no way to use dodge offset with that control scheme.

Do you actually own a switch? The grip is surprisingly fine. Not as good as the Pro obviously but unless you really wanted to spend $50-70 just for ergonomics the grip is fine (I have both)
