Obviously you should be rewarded for doing well at the game.

Enter the Gungeon kind of had that, where you have an increased chance of items dropping for every room where you don't take damage. But at the same time if you were doing well at the game it didn't matter if you have 12 hearts or 0 and you probably already had a suitable gun so you don't need more of those. All this extra shit but it was all wasted.

It's funny you responded this. The only xcom game I played is the board game and if you start doing bad in it the game's AI controlled by an ipad just makes it rain bullshit that makes a comeback impossible
