Half of the original wasn't garbage. It just went from "this is great!" to "eeeh.. ok"

my biggest hang up is max's parents moving right after the fucking funeral. made me feel like shit for chloe though. plus you had to deal with max talking about keeping in touch the whole time knowing damn well she won't.

Honestly I thought the same thing for a moment. But then she also mentions they'll write and see each other often, which makes more sense coming from past Max.

But yeah it seems like days must have passed between the news and the funeral at least, so she might have gone over there in between.

Its got some good moments, and I enjoyed most of the story of the base game until the end, which was terrible. if the dialog wasnt so fucking gay it would be a lot better. Its like its written by a group of 30 year old sjws who think this is how teenage girls talk (not just the cringe inducing slang, the way chloe is constantly pouring her heart out to everyone started to grate on me)

As I said I enjoy these point and click adventures like telltale games
