We don't know that yet, they could have easily asked for a 1-year exclusivity deal (as the rumors say they're going to do with Spyro next).

Google, friend. Toy company stockholder magazine promised an upcoming pc and switch version on the horizon + more games which would be the rumored Spyro remaster.
I just hope they fix the broken physics for both the ports and PS4 version
