Quite a few people have a serious problem where they don't actually like playing video games but, much like SJWs, just like being upset because it gives them something to do.

Overwatch is pretty fun outside of the esports cancer.

If there's anything I learned about videogames is that you should almost NEVER go into any automated "ranking" system. By virtue of the fact that they use an elo/mmr system which in practice only truly works within games that are traditionally 1v1. This was easily proven back when League of Legends was doing this, which I realize now was their bastardization of the Burning Crusade's Arena Rating system. Overwatch ranked is made infinitely worse by making losses hurt far more significantly than they should, especially when there are people who actively throw matches for some contrived reason.

Honestly the only way to fix it is by holding actual god damn tournaments with brackets, and have them run by the community itself, and not a fucking computer. Additionally, is having round-robin elimination out of the question?
