Hong Kong has more varied quests and uses various gameplay mechanics better but the story is worse. It's still much better than the first one, though.

Some times I think we forget what we're actually fighting against and worry.

I think the final mission for Hong Kong is better, especially when you compare how you can take both the villains using dialogue for both.

Not necessarily. Hong Kong is a lot different. I didn't really like it. The walls of text really grated on me, and I didn't particularly like the characters either.

Too bad you don't get to use those game mechanics very much, because the game would rather you spend your time reading about Duncan's teeth in between reading through the endless life stories of boring NPCs.

Not really. The plot of Dead Man's Switch isn't fantastic, but it's not bad either. At least it held my interest and had some fun gameplay, which is more than I can say for Hong Kong.

You can but it's not as satisfying. You can talk the villain of Dragonfall down, but it changes nothing at all as you still have to fight his number 2, and he dies in either ending. In Hong Kong, outwitting the villain gets you the good ending and it's rewarding to see her sputter when she realizes that you won.
