Realistically speaking, if something were to change in the video game industry as a result of this meeting, what would it be? Would it actually effect any of us or would there JUST be some sort of regulations on games like GTA, CoD,and Battlefield.

Even comic book execs are getting wise to the poison that is the SJW agenda. It's a slow process, but eventually the industry will correct itself. SJW's are loud, but they don't represent money. When that becomes painfully (in corporate terms) obvious, the shift back to normality will begin.

Realistically, nothing except a promise by several major names in the industry carefully drafted by their HR departments that do not actually hold them to any legal obligations yet claiming they would reduce the glorification of violence in vidya. At the lower end of plausible is a future major release by some big developer that gets a bunch of media attention for being non-violent or something.

The ESRB, MPAA, and TVPG ratings are all private recommendations, and don't carry any legal weight. Retailers and distributors just enforce them privately, since it's bad for business to be seen as selling violent or lewd content to minors, and they don't want to be seen as carrying porn. However, there's nothing preventing a store from selling these things, it's just that they'll have a much smaller market (which is fine for online retailers who don't have much overhead).

All of this went to the Supreme Court before, so even if they decide to legalize the rating systems you can except the Court to strike down any such law as unconstitutional based on precedent.
