ITT: Good armor design
I love Awakening user, but who are you trying to kid here?
...
...
God bless Japan.
...
The peak of armor design.
...
No way fag.
...
...
...
I love early SMT's pver the top armors. They're so stupid yet they somehow feel right in the setting
>you will slaughter demons as you bearly walk in this
Why live?
Stupid fucking Jian.
I'm going to wear your moron face as a party mask.
>t. Culter Dei
I miss Reach armor.
me on the right
reach was peak halo aesthetic imo.
there was enough detail to make the spartans feel grounded and gruntlike, but they were still very close to the original trilogy's designs.
Nigga, that's just a space suit.
...
...
that chain was so cool and still is.
Yeah, the coolest fucking spacesuit ever designed.
I'll play strange journey redux so fucking much.
The thing protruding from his chest always annoyed me though
>insanely restricted field of vision
>top-heavy
>face is wide open for a shot or stab
>"good"
Not that user but I'll be waiting for a patch to undo the art changes personally.
Otherwise yeah shit is gonna be cash.
I really like the design of the regular belltower grunts from DXHR.
I liked the unsc army's designs too
m8 those were my favorite fucking part of the armor, besides the helmet
Aren't they adding some new story bits for Redux. I'm still on the fence on that because if Omega Ruby taught me anything, adding new story shit into an old game is never a good thing. I'll probably emulate the original Strange Journey one day.
Dead Space 2 had some sexy fucking designs.
Why the point ass shoes on both sets?
Won't happen. More npcs have portraits now meaning there is nothing to replace them with essentially.
New story shit isn't IV:A level bad but, based on my knowledge of it, it seems pretty half assed.
feel disappointed every time theres a deadspace discussion, no one ever seems to talks bout the suits, best thing bout the series imo
fuuuggg
>tfw she probably died on reach
Yeah that's about what I expected. I'll just play the original game instead, thanks.
>when you buy new suits for their extra armor and inventory slots and then keep using the engineer rig
...
...
...
The true GOAT RIG.
The one on the left is from a period of time where armor was no longer worn into combat except for high ranking officers trying to be fancy while doing nothing. So its all for looks. The one on the right would fit over a gambeson and the the greaves would fit over boots. The smaller shape like that was because you could kick the shit out of someone down with it and its way easier to roll steel into that cone then to try and get a domed shape.
>see this
>get closer
>push
>watch as they struggle to get up
joke design
nice pick
>exposed thighs
A shame, the torso part of the armor looks good for the most part, it won't matter once they get bleed out
...
>Starts with an example from the Fire Emblem with the absolute worst designs in the series
At least you didnt post the toilet bowl knights
It doesn't seem awful but more just of a "was this really necessary?" kind of deal. I'll probably still buy it but based on what I've read from those who've played it really is more catered to newer players only really familar with IV and IV:A. I don't mind adding shit for the newfags but it seems like there isn't really much a veteran would miss out on by replaying the original.
>absolute worst designs in the series
I assume you mean outside of the first 3 games
>Sword literally taller than he is
>Trade to a thief
>It becomes a dagger
...
>3D holographic personal computer
>not worth the bulk
Stuff like that is part of what made his design unique anyways.
People don't call it Fashion souls for nothing
Yeah, that's why I typically don't like when devs attempt to add new story stuff into older games. It almost always feels superfluous and unecessary, and it usually works to the narrative's detriment because it'll add new plotholes and the like. It's just stupid honestly, and I wished devs didn't bother and instead just focused more on delivering more of the gameplay rather than the narrative when remaking games.
I regret making thousands iron daggers for this
