Sm4sh was alright. Not as floaty as Brawl and had excellent character selection. I'm no Melee elitist but I think it must've been because I was 13 when I played it nonstop before I could just buy any game at any time. I hope having a portable home console experience will reignite the flame in my heart.

I'm a melee elitist but brawl and smash 4 are good games. I drastically prefer melee's gameplay but I have no doubt I'll get tons of hours out of a new smash game.

I do. My first-ever match in Smash 4 was over in 30 seconds because I got an ore club and instakilled my opponent three times with it. It's Brawl with worse stages, worse items, and gutted additional modes.

Oh fuck off, those were separated for good reason. Only an autist who thinks separating them """takes character slots""" would be opposed.

Who would want to recombine characters? Zelda/sheik and Samus/ZSS are completely unique characters so I see no problem giving them their own css square. It's not like it takes up a slot.

Same applies to doc, lucina, dark pit. They're different from their originals so I don't see what's so bad about having squares for them.

Dark Pit isn't, but aside from that, transforming made those characters interesting and what they got instead isn't worth anything.

Smash Bros isnt even that good of a series because it levels the playing field too much with random items and stage hazards. It's literally just Mario Party with punching unless you're playing No-Fun-Allowed mode.

I really dont understand how Sup Forums can sit here and pretend that they still have the same amount of fun playing Smash as they did when they were kids.
