I'm sorry but I really don't want Shovel Knight, it's a good game, don't get me wrong, but I can't see them doing anything very interesting with him other than making him a bland swordsman with a smaller hitbox.

Sometimes they remove them, like the pokemon trainer from Brawl, and sometimes they reintroduce old characters as dlc, like Roy from melee and make it like look like a big reveal. I just want it to be confirmed that the new game will have all the previous characters and focus the reveals and DLC only on completely new characters
