The entire 3rd part of the game.
Soy game, fitting it's going to the Soytch
Dragon asses.
Crap optimization regardless of platform it came out on.
geniusly crafted criticism
Bed of Chaos.
Pinwheel, Tooth Dragon (although the design is cool), and Bed of Chaos. Other than that it's the perfect game in my book
i never had a single problem on pc except for that one ladder in new londo
It's not as open world as something like Skyrim
All the environments are cramped and small
No towns to explore
It's a great game but it's not a masterpiece like some fanboys shill it out to be
Its my favorite game of all time but it definitely has flaws op
Meme game that's marketed as "muh difficulty", which is eaten by handlets.
>Puzzle bosses
>Extremely bad camera for the kinds of bossfights that there are
>Game is rushed like crazy, leaving several areas in a sort of placeholder state
>Abysmally optimized
Massive orange walls despite claims of being nonlinear
Sure, ;et's just ignore the terrible controls setup, framerate, and resolution without needing to resort to 3rd-party fixes.
Gargoyles are a massive early difficulty bump, with nothing really hard after them
uses the same ui font and sounds as every other jap game
the enemy placements, boss designs, and weapon/armor variety literally carry this game. There's some terrible parts of the game that make doing new characters almost not worth it.
And the game runs like shit all across the board. I like the game myself but there's loads of games that are closer to perfection. It may be the contrarian opinion, but DaS1 was so flawed as a game that there's no way it can by a 10/10 out of principle
Fanbase
No pause.
Sure, you can halt the process with Cheat Engine but still.
This is why everyone loves the first half of the game so much. There's nothing stopping you from doing anything except the late-game content. It's basically no holds barred, and it made invasions great because anyone could be anywhere at around sl1-70
what's wrong with pinwheel?
Will Dark Souls Remastered fix this?
He's a non-boss. Even at sl20 or something he's easy, but you just one shot him if your level is anywhere near decent
>Name a single flaw
okay.. how about the entirety of anor londo?
Literally just exit to the main menu. Don't try and backpedal by saying that's too much too, you'd only bring up cheat engine if you didn't know you could do this.
>shield
I've seen this gif a million times and every time I assume its a troll because who the fuck would ever approach the situation like this. Any player that's gotten that far into the game would know to put up a greatshield and walk, and then you clear that entire area by just blocking
>have a phone call
>need to break combat and exit to menu
>phone has rung out by then
Lost Izalith
...
Falls apart after Anor Londo because Bandai rushed the game to release before Skyrim.
Basement Key is way too easy to miss given the way the game directs you around the area, a lot of players who haven't been told what to do end up going down the blacksmith stairs instead
Well I think it's fair to point out that the demon ruins and lost izaleth are clearly rushed content.
>he didn't reach that point being able to 2-hit kill paint guardians
LOL
This. If remastered doesn't fix these PROBLEMS OF VITAL IMPORTANCE I'm not buying that shit. I'm assuming it's just going to be
>We fixed gammu , rook arr dis texture we add
Because fromsoft doesn't give a shit now that DaS is officially finished
>It's Bandai's fault that From has never released a finished game!
"No!"
The only greatshields available before then are rare drops from the stone and giant soldiers or one with a 30 Str requirement sold by the undead merchant or dropped by the two (2) fat black knights you fight.
You expect all new players to be a STR build, to have acquired a great shield, and to know that the guardians lose their will to live and commit suicide if you block long enough (really, they do that?).
This area is bullshit but this retard is just making it ten times hard on himself.
You should be able to just parry kill them by this point in the game or kick them off.
The footage we've seen from Dark Souls "Remastered" doesn't look any different than the normal game. They aren't gonna fix shit.
A handful of areas look like they had NPCs or items added after the world was designed, rather than having the world designed in order to lead the player to the NPC or item.
Jumping sucks.
fromsoft has literally nothing to do with this so you won't get an izalith fix.
bamco being the greedy jews that they are hired another team to do the shit for them
You get the eagle greatshield in blighttown by the bonfire. only 16 str so any char can use it 2 hand
This issue comes from the team thinking you would go to the catacombs right after the gargoyles (beating moonlight butterfly and getting the divine weapon flame).
Doesn't really need to be fixed because they just misjudged where players would go.
Also not every boss has to be hard.
This isn't 100% true. We know that the Switch port is being handled by Virtuos, who did the PC port of FF12. We still don't know who is working on the other remasters.
You mean the eagle shield is hidden somewhat by the bonfire in an optional wing that a new player may just skip entirely. You've got a severe case of "everyone is me and anyone who didn't have the exact same experience I did is stupid".
You also can't assume they'd figure out to put the shield in their right hand (or the even more obscure process of two-handing your left-handed weapon) and that the best way to kill someone is to not use a weapon.
>Flat characters
>Ugly artstyle
>Ugly environments
>Even uglier character models
>Ugly armours
>Barely has a story
>Everything after Anor Londo
Still enjoyed it though
last third/half of the game is shit
>barely has a story
your such a nerd lmoa, just read a book
