Does antibirth have afterbirth style deal with the devil mechanics? I'd drop afterbirth in an instant if this was the case.

Started playing it again recently after buying it around when it came out i think.
I think i made a mistake when i bought Afterbirth+, fuck those portals

Is Isaac actually good? I loved Gungeon and Nuclear Throne and I have a Switch. Wondering if I should pick it up.

Its great if youre a newcomer and havent watched edmund slowly chew the meat out of the game and spit it back out

it's slower paced than nuclear throne and faster paced than gungeon, has a metric fuckton of items and synergies that make pretty much every run unique, lots of content too

Buy rebirth with no expansions. Get afterbirth if you're absolutely desperate for more once finished.

Hush fights pretty cool, would be better without super armor

I hate what Edmund is doing to BoI, trying to "balance" game, shit like the shovel not working in boss trap rooms is a good example. He should focus on making fun items like Brimstone and not gacha items like Empty Vessel
