When are you fags going to realize that Sakurai typically doesn't cut single rep franchises unless he truely has to?

We go through this with every god damn game. Mr. G&W added in Melee? HOLY SHIT HE'S GONNA GET CUT IN BRAWL. R.O.B added in Brawl? HOLY SHIT HE'S GONNA GET CUT IN SMASH 4. And look where we are now.

Cutting someone like Greninja makes somewhat more sense (as much as I don't really want it to actually happen), because, at the very least, there's like five other Pokemon characters in the game to represent that franchise. If you cut out Wii Fit Trainer, you're literally cutting out the entire Wii Fit franchise/emblem from Smash Bros.

The only two instances of us losing franchises from Smash are Metal Gear and Ice Climber. The former is a third party and thus a legal gray area while the other had terrible technical issues with the 3DS. Characters like R.O.B, Wii Fit Trainer, and Duck Hunt don't have either issues.

I just realized Nintendo has been using FE Heroes to determine what characters people most want in Brawl.

That means Hector, Celica, Lyn, Camilla, and Ephraim are most likely to be added.

Ike is the face of Fire Emblem. Marth is more likely to get cut than he is at this point.

I want Duck Hunt to return. I loved the character, his shit eating grin, and the light gun themed moveset. Also, I know it will never happen, but I think it would be cool if they were to make a not-Banjo Kazooie game using Duck Hunt.

All three of these hold huge in game potential, minecraft Steve offers a lot of tool based movesets, no idea what they would use as a final Smash, the dragonborn would be a great addition, a shout as a final Smash. And undertale seriously, as autistic and Tumblr tear as it is, if it really is coming to the switch, they might as well nod to it.

Why would Greninja be more certain than Lucario, their A tier mascot? (If Pikachu is S tier, Pokemon like Charizard and Lucario are A.)

Because Lucario has been in since Brawl, that already makes him more Likely than Greninja who has been in one game.

The problem is that if he was DLC for the Wii U version at least he would have a decent moveset, now he would be low tier.

OP here, basically my mindset on why I made this and the pic related of the first post. Most of the X's I put because licensing or making room for newer characters of the franchise. There are a few exceptions to these rules, mostly because they are gimmick characters that might get different gimmick characters to replace them.

This is why Sakurai is in charge of Smash and not some random shitter like yourself. Each of those characters have had an important part of Nintendo history. It's not only about shilling future games.

Actually likley because he had a movie, but will probably get shafted depending on when the next movie comes out.

Doc and Roy were full clones, making them easier to bring back. Also, Doc's model was already finished as an alt.
Wolf was a lot more unique than those two. Special moves aside, he was completely different from Fox.
Wolf would also need new voice clips from his current VAs. The devs probably felt that getting multiple VAs to voice a returning character for DLC isn't worth the hassle.

This game is either a port or using Smash 4's assets, so I don't expect any removed characters except perhaps a third party character like Cloud if they don't want to get the rights to using him once again.
