Where will next Asscreed take place?
Where will next Asscreed take place?
grorious nippon
i hope in the trash bin
origins is good tho user
He'll never know
It'll be an Aztec fucking up conquistadors or something I don't even know
it's just an historic tv documentary wannabe, go read an history book at this point.
Mongol invasion of Kievan Rus
The Mongols will be the based good guy Assassins and the Kievan Rus will be a bunch of evil Templars :(((
this would be as shitty as AC3. Same 1 story mudhut bullshit everywhere save for the 1 hold.
you're a fucking moron.
we already know where its going to be. they released a lineup in black flag for all the upcoming games
Assassins Creed Noire or bust.
>Kievan Rus
>mudhuts
>tfw Animus e-mails talked about French Revolution, Ptolemaic Egypt and Wild West
>we got Unity and Syndicate
>mfw another boring game with wooden 2 story shacks with train riding gimmick to compete against RDR2
>lol FUCK everything that isn't jumping from a high stone building into a hay pile
AC3 was trash because of garbage writing and a PC who was awful in every way
You're wrong, people like to climb buildings in those games. That's one of the reasons Syndicate is so unpopular because they force you the dumb rope spider-man launcher.
everything in that email has come true so far. at least they took feedback from fans and made ac origins a game which actually felt like one of the old ac games. it's a good game but flawed still. they're on the right path though.
Well Origins is certainly more memorable than 3, Unity or Syndicate. The writing was not good but combat, exploration (if you turn off markers and guide yourself through quest journal) and lore about Isu was alright. No idea why they introduced new modern day snowflake though.
I hate how they casualized the free running from 3 onwards.
in 2, you have 4 options. walk, fast walk, run, and gotta go fast. also, watch out for crowded area
in 3, it's either walk or gotta go fast. also, fuck the crowded area
Free running is best done in Unity
It‘s Japan, gotta be. They‘ve been giving us popular setting after popular setting for 3 years. They did Ancient Egypt, the only one that‘s even more popular is Feudal Japan.
Y'all wrong it's going to be Ancient Rome with Bayek and Amunet(Aya).
Their stories are done and they are wasting Rome on a comic.
Wild West is more popular.
Feudal Japan is only popular among weebs,
you couldn‘t be any more wrong
>Anything even close to modern day
They tried that user.
They fucked it up.
>Their stories are done
in Hidden Ones Aya even asks Bayek to come to Rome that there's still unifinished business and that the Order of the Ancients is spreading to Greece and Roman Empire and before Unity come out there were rumors that Ubisoft has another team working on large scale ancient Rome game that went quiet
That doesn‘t mean they‘ll definitely go there next. You need to take into account that there are several AC teams and the next one has been in development for atleast 2 years now. Do you really think they‘d double down on Rome and Bayek and Aya without knowing how well Origins would be received? Maybe it‘s coming in the distant future, but not next. Plus, there‘s literally nothing left to tell. Bayek handles the Brotherhood in Egypt, Aya in Rome. Caesar is already dead, and we know Aya is gonna kill Cleopatra too. What‘s the point of following their timeline even further? Rome isn‘t even at its peak during this time period.
Also regarding the leak. The leaker said that they were *discussing* the possibility of Rome and Greece, but nothing was set in stone. We don‘t know if discussions fell through or not. During development lots and lots of stuff changes. For instance the leak also mentioned that Bayek was a slave and there was no secondary main characters. Look at the end result now, completely different. And Ubisoft has never once used a setting they wasted already for a mainline game. Rome is not as likely as you think.
what's going on in the modern world in the games at this point?
can anyone give me a rundown or tell me which article on the wiki i should read?
Alright you make some pretty good points, we probably won't know what Ubisoft has in store for AC until E3 or 2019.
Some game company that's totally not Ubisoft, that's worked with the actual Ubisoft seriously what.
oh yeah, i played black flag and that's the last game i played. should have clarified that. last thing i remember is minerva (i think) being loose on the internet and the templars still running shit
Ancient aliens failed to master the flow of time which led to their destruction. They relayed a message from the past to the future for a mary sure protagonist that‘s pretty much AC‘s very own Rey (Star Wars) to do what they couldn‘t so Earth doesn‘t get destroyed again. And maybe with enough time fuckery create a timeline where aliens and manlind live together. Time travel and shit is also implied.
So, time fuckery.
Okay probably not 100% accurate since I skipped Syndicate but how I understood it there's third group other than Templars and Assassin's called the Instruments of the First Will that wants to bring Juno to her physical form since she's trapped on the internet or some shit like that and they also use Sage who's some reincarnation of Aita or some shit and Desmond's 12 year old son is Sage who is working with the Juno cult and Templars and Assassin's are looking for Sage and shit
>Instruments of the First Will
great, this should be enough to get me started on the wiki. thanks
Wakanda
I liked this fucker.
Fuck the haters, Assassins Creed Unity made the game stealthy, made the assassins feel like assassins and the story morally grey.
And then comes the fucking cartoon-like Syndicate and AC Witcher in Egypt.
They should've made a game with Arno acting as an assassins for Napoleon travelling around Europe during the Napoleon Wars.
What exactly did he do wrong?
>why don't you like Arno?
>he's kid that kept fucking up!!!
When literally only thing he's done wrong is: not delivering the letter
he was hard to like after ac1 altair, ezio and edward. and it's not like other MCs dont get shat on
Unity felt like a waste of time because the story wasn't very good to begin with, but the entire story ultimately was a big fuck you to the player
>We're assassins and we need your help to find out where this persons remains are!
>It's a huge race against time between us and the templars, it's so important you help us get to them first!
>Oh looks like they're in the catacombs with a bunch of other skeletons, they'll never find em, thanks anyway lmao
Edward was a piece of shit, a horrible human being.
I don't understand how people like him.
He was too thirsty for pussy, Elise didn't even finish her sentence and he was already carrying out the task and she would betray him in the end anyways. Tragic really, the closest to beta male we'll get in AC.
That's what makes him so compelling imo. We've all been there at one time or another.
He even got his shit back together in Dead Kings. It's a pity we never saw anything from him again.
He redeemed himself in the end
he didn't hide it, for one, anti hero characters are very likeable, for second, well written within this context, for third
ja that annoyed me
>A new assassin's Creed with bad combat
>BUT GEAR AND DAMAGE NUMBERS AND GRAPHICS!!!!
origins fucking sucks. It's just pretty and tricks you into thinking you're having fun because of gear progression as well as map progression.
It’s probably gonna be set in Belgian Congo with player play as a BLACK man killing white imperialists, and show are how evil whites are
Man even the Chronicles game on India is about kicking English ass.
When I played Freedom Cry I was truly disgusted...
That game was all about racial hatred against white and revenge against them.
>Edward was a piece of shit
Which is why people like him. He's not some crybaby reservation babby who is given the world on a platter and still crying that it's not enough. He's just a dickass pirate who is only in it for number 1.
>Hey sorry your mom and tribe got killed, let me teach you in the ways of the assassin, a secret society with hookups beyond hookups
>Ya like sailing? Have my bigass fucking ship too
>No son, don't be an assassin, join the secret order of Templars, an also incredibly powerful secret society.
>No Connor, help me beat back the Redcoats and make America a free country and together we can make history, we can even help other native tribes
>WHERE IS CHARLES LEE!!!!!
VS
>join the assassin's Edward, we may be on our last fucking leg but were way too cool for you, in fact, you can't join us you dirty pirate! Wanna sign up?
>Nah fuck all that noise, I just want the gold and to hunt bigass white whales
The only shame is that black flags story has no mission variety and it's all tailing missions through gay little towns
Easy. Persia. Also you are a prince.
NUT
>The only shame is that black flags story has no mission variety and it's all tailing missions through gay little towns
This annoyed me but when they pulled out SHIP TAILING missions I thought I'm gonna stop playing. But it's the only AC game with Brotherhood I finished multiple times so it means something about it's quality
lol
Hear me out on this one
>Assassin's Creed set in persia
>During a huge battle
>You play as the prince
>One of the holy artifacts is in your father's possession but one of his advisors is trying to take it to usurp power
>Through some scuffle you end up in possession of this holy artifact and find through it's use you can stop and rewind time
>This causes local distortions of time turning most/all humans into monster/zombies that you can kill for said sand
>Lots of fucking dying because you can just rewind
Ubisoft is about to make a LOT of money
The leaks about Egypt/Greece/Rome trilogy are probably true. I think they fucked up by setting Origins in Ptolemaic times tough. I wanted Old Egypt and no creative constraints. Have people run around with ayy lmao artifacts fucking shit up.
Whatever it may be, they need to redo the combat. Fighting against damage sponges with anime-tier moves is the gayest shit.
I can already see them making an edgy sequel to this.
I think the enemies in Origins are only damage sponges if they're out of your level, sure it was weird decision to restrict you from map parts like this but as you progress the duels with Phylakitai and Shadows are enjoyable.
In the trash where it belongs
It's incredible they haven't tried to make a Robin Hood Ass Creed yet. It would take virtually zero effort to adapt it to the setting.
Because Robin Hood is white.
Nope, there are enemies that can't be killed with the hidden blade regardless of your level. They are rare but they exist in the big camps usually. They have like ~10K HP and insane damage. Same with the Phylakitai.
Half of the playable characters throughout the series were white.
>he didn't upgrade his hidden blade
I cleared every question mark in the game and apart of Phylakitai I've only seen like 4-5 of those big big guys with halberds.
Even 5 of them is too much. They are a chore to fight and they highlight the worst of the combat system.
Perhaps we just like different things but I fail to see how you can think Origin's combat is the worst in the series. Everything up to Unity was 'get surrounded by 20 enemies, parry one and mash attack to instakill everyone one by one'
In Origins you have light and heavy attacks, as well two different dodges. I can understand why you think that hidden blade not instakilling some enemies is bullshit but that would make the game even easier.
Whoa there, pal. I hardly think that Origins combat is the worst, or even bad. Overall, it is the step in the right direction but it needs a lot of improvement.
Jurassic Era
My bad, reading comprehension fucked me. I read it as you said "they highlight the worst combat system" instead "of the combat system"
Yeah I agree about that then, it's a step in the right direction and if the next studio (Origins was done by Black Flag studio) doesn't fuck it up it could be even better.
Any place they can virtue signal or revise history for their personal hangups.
>tfw I play Assassins Creed in French
>Learn another language
>Still get to enjoy the historical period without understanding the sjw hints
>slaughtering Romans as an Egyptian
Hey, it'll be just like modern life then.
Central Africa
I honestly wish the naval sailing aspect became its own game line. It's too good to just be relegated to two games and a mini mode in a third.
If you set it in the Old/Middle/New Kingdoms you wouldn't have the opportunity to kill Western analogues in the form of Greeks and Romans though. You'd be killing Hittites and Nubians. Not kosher for modern Ubisoft.
Ahem
That was before the industry was flooded with politics. If they did Robin Hood they'd take a BBC revisionist approach to England ("Moors" everywhere) and play up the class struggle angle you caught whiffs of in Unity and Syndicate despite those ideas being anachronistic for medieval England.
Basically this Like For Honor but with ships
You only kill Romans in second half of the game, first half is full of killing niggas what are you talking bout?
nobody liked the setting. USA got no interesting history
The fact that Colonial Brotherhood was bunch of fucking retards didn't help either
Does anyone even care about the modern world part of Asscreed? Why not cut it out entirely.
Sorry weaboos but the next one is 100% confirmed to be either ancient rome or greece, or both
I care about precursors, I like that part of the setting. You gotta connect them to modern day somehow. Was seriously disappointed after syndicate bait about resurrection of them, and NOTHING in Origins.
which would suck. Middle east would be x10 better, somewhere around Persia or Iraq
>You gotta connect them to modern day somehow
OR, they can just make a game where you're an assassin from the past fighting templars. The end.
>I didn't play Asscreed 1
I liked how Origins handled Isu ruins, those were amazing to explore and had very eerie feeling to it. However the part with Laila was garbage, why even bother with that, William Miles was portrayed like complete fucking idiot while yass queen slay did everything. Also why was Aya buried with Bayek? Wasn't her tomb in Assassin's Creed 2?
it had 3 buildings in grand total spread around the map
>mfw riding through the southwestern part of the map
Something progressive to fight Da Ebil White Mang.
>Also why was Aya buried with Bayek? Wasn't her tomb in Assassin's Creed 2?
makes more sense than transporting her to italy from egypt
>tfw climbing that mountain in Black Desert
But lad she established brotherhood in Rome, in this case they would have transport her from Italy to Egypt
God I hope not. We already had Brotherhood and Origins had enough Hellenic architecture.
I think they're gonna finally do an Asian AC. Japan, China, hell even India could be the place they decide.
The point is the Middle East was already done dummy
she returned in the DLC as far as I know, didn't play it myself
maybe she went back when she was old.
You can sneak up and berseker them (provided you have the level), and they end up dying anyway
Easy peasy, just make sure to run
The northwest map in Origins is pretty much Italy
roma/greece were also done then in AC2
