How the fuck do you raise fps in this game? I'm, always around 60 (with lots of frame drops) and no matter the settings my fps never goes up. Hell, I get lower fps on low settings than I do on high. I don't know what the fuck to do. I also get constant frame drops with that update rate icon ever since mid season reinforcement dropped. What the hell do I do?
It’s should more than enough , I have a 1060 which is better Than a 970 i think , only thing I can think of is ram , I have 16 gbs and my 1060 is a 6gb version which always uses 4 gbs of it , I get over 100 FPS on everything turned up , also you trying to run it on 4K ?
Levi Morris
Sorry I think a 970 is better
Elijah Wilson
Nope, 1920x1080, And no matter what settings I put it, the fps never goes up above 100.
Grayson Fisher
I’m not sure what it can be , unless I had it in front of me , maybe you have too many programs running in the background, I also use the master race win7sp1 , I feel like your hardware is more than enough to do any game out now , siege is not a very demanding game also
Hudson Gutierrez
I dunno, I don't run anything knowingly. I do have very high cpu usage but I dunno how to lower it. And 100% cpu bug with siege too.
Anthony Cruz
Ubisoft optimization jank, you're lucky to have 60 semi-consistently.
Jackson Perry
Read some stuff that certain cpu can’t handle the unlocked FPS , maybe try locking it , don’t think upgrading for one game is worth it
Parker Sullivan
Yeah but I've seen vids where people with same specs have 100+ fps.
How do I do that?
John Allen
Look up the settings nigga
Lucas Phillips
Ok I'll try, thanks.
Jackson Brooks
disable fullscreen optimisations
Luke Peterson
Where do I find that? I've looked in the options but it's not there.
Zachary Bailey
go to where the game is installed (steam/steamapps/common/siege), right click RainbowSix.exe, properties, compatibility tab, tick 'disable fullscreen optimizations' at the bottom, apply
Joshua Turner
Are you using the amd specific graphics features? Put medium textures, shaders, then shadows on low , no ambient occlusion or AA and see it it's fixed. I get 60-110 fps with a 2011 cpu and 2013 4g card
Nathan Hill
Don't have that option.
Evan Scott
I put everything on low and nothing changes. I get even worse performance.
Drivers up to date? Check what starts up with windows maybe it's hogging the cpu. Or Your bios could be your cpu is running off one core or really low fans speeds because of windows.
Brody Taylor
Use TAA and set it for around 900p with 60% sharpness
William Collins
I did notice my cpu is around 70 percent when idling.
