Why?

Because the human eye can't see past that anyway.

Probably because the switch has weak hardware and can't handle everything that happens on screen.

Pretty sure it's been scientifically proven that 30fps is the max most humans can perceive

Pretty sure it's been scientifically proven that you're fucking braindead and don't have the mental capacity to research before you spew shit all over this board

you aren't actually being serious are you? if you are, play the demo and see how different the menu feels from the actual gameplay

It's all you fucking need.

maybe you guys should spend less time on Sup Forums and more time reading a scientific journal for a change

oh my god. just do what i'm telling you to do. you will see it yourself. it's mostly ignorance that blinds you. once you see it yourself, you will agree with me

I'm a huge kirby fan, I've played both versions. I don't see any difference, and I've tried hard. Then I did some Research and it proves me right

i can't tell the difference after 20 fps i don't get where you guys are getting 30.

for some reason they chose visuals over framerate while basically all of their other games its the other way around. im sure it will fine though

listen, i'm not saying the gameplay itself is adversely affected by it; i even have it preordered because it's fun.
but you need to at least be able to perceive that there is a frame difference here. the menu in the demo is 60 fps, but the demo gameplay is in 30 fps.

20 is pretty noticeable and 30 comes from digital foundries i believe

Because it's just a fucking Kirby game. No need to put effort in optimising a game that plays super slowly, and where the ai play half the game for you.

its REALLY jarring when you go from playing Wii Kirby Dreamland to the Star Allies Demo.

what retard working on this thought muh graphics and having depth of field were more important than the framerate?

i think it's more the fact that 4 players are in the game constantly eating up the processor. either way, it sucks that they had to resort to 30

>i think it's more the fact that 4 players are in the game constantly eating up the processor
but there were in wii too

They worried more about muh grafix and making everything look pretty than making sure the framerate, story and music weren't shit.

>maybe you guys should spend less time on Sup Forums and more time reading a scientific journal for a change
Burden of proof. Post these "journals" lmao

>start demo up
>"hm oh i guess it was a meme this is clearly 60fps"
>click past the menu and start the game
>instant drop to 30fps
>start feeling nauseated, cant even see straight
>turn game off
>feel woozy for days, make an appointment with doctor
>some tests are being done
>weeks pass and i feel worse every day
>test results are in: sickle cell anemia
fuck kirby

wow fucking kirby

Honestly probably because it is rendering the 4 characters at once constantly. I'm not a fan of it myself, but the game looks fun at least.

Laziness.

Return to Dreamland had four-player co-op as well though.

was also 480p
